Have you thought of using a 2kw diesel heater? I have one in the back of my vivaro van as a heater. It would reach the temperature you want easily and its blown ais so srlf circulates. Also very efficient. I think 1 gallon of diesel lasts about 24 hours.
The heating room looks good BUT I see one thing I would add to it . I think I would put 2”x4” along the wall at different heights where you could lay plywood or some kind of insulation just higher than what ever you have in the warming room to warm up so you do not have to heat the whole height of the room . It would save money , time and time is money . You could easily move your thermostat wire down under your false moveable ceiling. Just thought that may help a little. What does your heater pipes in the floor have in them that heats up ?? . Good job on this room . Thanks
Hello I just found your video on your warming room . I am in the process of building a warming room . I have all my controls an fans but can you tell me what you are using for your heater or can you send me a link or a listing for what you are using on your hear source. I love your Bee design on the outside of your room. THANKS
Thanks very much! I really appreciate the positive comment! I ordered them from a horticultural supplier. They are hydroponic trays. I'll dig up the link and post below. They are 600mm x 600mm so a nice clearance to work with a standard national 480mm x 480mm

What temperature controller and fans did you use for this? I have finally got started on converting my garage to a honey room and am going to upgrade my current homemade bucket warmer to something similar to this.
I used an STC 1000 pro controller. Just bog standard computer fans. Hausen heating tubes as they dont have thermal cuts outs (well they do but they are stupidly high).
slightly off topic but do you use this to decrystalise buckets of honey? I currently only sell honey in buckets but want to sell in jars but not sure if i should liquify a bucket and jar the whole lot in one go or just jar what i need. either way how do you stop it recristalising. do you keep in warm (what temp to not cause harm?)

Think I’m going to design this in to my house. Where did you get the trays? They would also be great for placing supers in the back of my van.

Hausen Heating Tubes. Bigger the better 😀
Great video, this is the next on my to do list :)
Cheers. Good luck with the build. Make sure you go for tube heaters with high cut out temps. Hausen ones are 👌
@@BlackMountainHoney thanks for the tips!
@@BrooklandsHoneyBees No worries. I look forward to watching the build!
Where you get the bee design from? Very kool!
Ah thanks. I bought a stencil and then cut the pieces out of wood and sanded them into shape. It was fun!
Your channel is excellent, keep up the good work. Where do you get your trays and what are their dimensions?

Where'd you get controller, & fans? Working on building one now.
amzn.to/39MoE1d for the controller. Any computer fans seem to work. Want as powerful as you can afford.
