The descending scalar patterns after the pedal notes are not nearly up to the speed and accuracy required. Check out Cesario Filho if you want to really learn the Malmsteen style. He has really mastered it incredibly well.

Thanks haha, oh finally someone noticed that haha. When I brought my strat to my local store for service they actually damaged the nut, so the gap of the D string became to big. As a result the D string was to close on the fretboard and I eas unable to play proper notes...so I fixed it with a öiece of paper, which is not ideal but it works. Anyway I need to replace the nut asap! Haha
