I had the Apple II version and wasn’t too bad, but the key was managing your pepper supply. The higher the level, the shorter time it hung around to grab. You sometimes had to avoid getting the ice cream/coffee/fries because you didn’t have time to get it and needed to complete the level.
This game is really about timing. The person demonstrating this game is using a level of patience. I never figure out I think I have never gotten past the second round because I absolutely don’t recognize any of those other rounds.
I thumbed this up just for existing. It brings me so much joy to see this game again. Haven't even seen it since my arcade days in the early to mid-'80s. I'd put this one right up there with Dig Dug and Tapper.
You almost wonder if Nenriki will do “Burgertime Party!” For the Switch. Where we follow probably Peter Pepper Jr., the son of the original Peter Pepper.

I had the MAME world record for this for a while on Twin Galaxies. Over 7,000,000 points. The key is to manipulate the enemies into clusters and then maneuver them onto the ingredients and drop them. Work from the bottom up to maximize points.
Damn! I watched this all the way to the end. That last level the demonstrator had 10 lives and lost all 10 on that level. When you run out of pepper, you’re pretty much doomed.
My first game i played on my intellivision. Intellivision controllers were horrible. Side button for pepper didn't always work. I wish i had played in the Arcade first.
