    • @kenetrice
      @kenetrice 5 років тому +8

      @@user-jx3iw2vj3u Well, if it is something like a chemical exfoliant, maybe it wouldn't be the best idea to drag it down your neck. She has a very valid question. The skin on your neck is very thin, just like the skin under your eyes. So, it might not be a good idea to use chemical exfoliants on your neck, just like it wouldn't be smart to put it on that thin undereye skin.

    Agreed with all of these except two: First: makeup on the plane. I'd do the skincare on the plane and go makeup free for the whole plane ride instead. Second: going to bed with a full face of makeup. Personally even though I'm not a fan of wipes I would use one for sensitive skin that has no drying alcohols or harsh surfactants in it. Like Face Halo for instance. For peace of mind sake mainly. I cannot go to bed with even the thought of makeup on. I don't think I'd be able to fall asleep just knowing all that gunk is seeping into my pores. I know, so extra haha. But still.

    • @caseylawrence839
      @caseylawrence839 5 років тому

      I'm not Susan but I am a therapist in a totally unrelated field lol. Do you have proper sleep positioning pillows. I sleep on my back every night. You need the sleep cushion that goes directly under your knees. It's the proper way to sleep on your back for your spine and your neck. It just so happens to also keep me on my back throughout the night

    • @caseylawrence839
      @caseylawrence839 5 років тому

      If you're sleeping on your back and you're tossing and turning. It's probably your brain sending signals to your pain receptors because not sleeping with a pillow under your knees causes discomfort to your neck and spine

    I would choose whiteheads, because once they’re gone, they’re gone. Blackheads tend to just fill right back up. You can get it out, but the pore just tends to fill up and need to be cleaned out again eventually.

    • @Risharnec
      @Risharnec 5 років тому +5

    • @kenetrice
      @kenetrice 5 років тому +3

      Yea, but blackheads are much less noticable. Most people will never see the blackheads on your face, unless they get right up in your face (like a foot or less away). While whiteheads are noticable from further back. Also, whiteheads tend to have a nasty look to them and you can't easily cover them with makeup because it leaves a bumpy textured look regardless. I'd take easily hidden and hard to see blackheads anyday.

    • @ashleysanchez1163
      @ashleysanchez1163 5 років тому +2

      Risharne Clark Those aren’t whiteheads then, those are pustules. Whiteheads are the small ones that can go away quickly (usually after you pop them), pustules are the typical “pimple” that have pus, are painful and usually inflamed. These can keep coming back until the “core” or “sack” is removed.

      L. The best Retin-a available is the prescription strength. Asked your doctor if he/she can write you a prescription for it, then start small and move your way up. For instance, I started with 0.05% strength every other night, and now I use 0.1% every single night. I slowly worked my way up in strength. 😊

    Are you not on board with the at home micro needling? Like the little Derma rollers you can buy from Rodan & Fields.

    I have oily skin, and in this humid weather, its super oily. No matter what skin care, it still get like buckets of oil (not literally of course) on my skin. Using makeup on top of that is really unimaginable for me. Really need help with this situation.

    Anyone else have the problem with sun cream where it kind of rolls off your face as you put make up on top? I use sun sense which is recommended...

      your skin may not be absorbing the product, so it just sits on top. i heard from beauty within that the remedy to that is exfoliation.
