I somewhat agree ! Everything dose not have to be diecast and heavy but they could do better with there plastic’s especially the clear plastics! I’m making a vid on the design choices now to open a discussion

I bought mine on aliexpress before the price got insane now the are on eBay for dumbass prices like 200.-250.00 which is stupid the grams of plastic do not justice Those prices but they are on eBay right now!

Takara should hire some 3rdparties' engineers. Their take on "toon accurate" is a tragedy! This Bumblebee and Jetfire are weird compared to other masterpieces. And Skids, though having a good mold, doesn't look masterpiece at all. His colors and materials look cheap. How can the same company that made MP44 (Optimus) and MP36 (Megatron) make those mistakes?
Nah takara engineers are phenomenal, especially since they got the OG g1 designer back, they just need to be given enough time to do their job properly and the takara execs need to stop forcing them to make their figures with an insane parts count
It can actually do that without modding just by swinging the bumper up top! Changed him a lot for me. Can send you a pic if you have Instagram, I think they should’ve ultimately put the window underneath and the door folded to the back
