Would you please do a Dallas to Las Vegas road trip sometime? I'd love to see a video sometime that's more focused on the southwest. I'd love to see some canyons, cacti, and Route 66.
43:25 Manzanar: U.S. National Historic Landmark. Manzanar is the site of one of ten American concentration camps, where more than 120,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated during World War II from March 1942 to November 1945. (Wikipedia)
In two different rentals. After I exchanged cars in LAX, I drove back across the country. That video will be my next, and I hope to have it uploaded by the end of the month.
Great drive! What if I tell you that I paid $379 in tolls for 2024? If I didn't have PIKEPASS or E-ZPass, I would've pay about $635 in tolls. The reason it's a lot because live many next to E-ZPass states. For reference, I live in Tennessee and the next door E-ZPass states is North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Almost 9 hours for 300 miles? I have to say I am a bit baffled, because when zooming through the video, it looked as if you had some traffic in the second half of the trip, but nothing really bad. I never was to the USA (Which is why I watch videos like this, to experience it vicariously.), but I heard the whole trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas usually takes maybe 4 hours or so.
The drive from Bishop to L.A. is only half of this video. I also included video from L.A. back up to Barstow. The description will give you details. I drove up to Barstow to start my complete I-40 road trip to Wilmington, NC. That will be my next upload.
I'm heading to California in a few weeks. I'm so excited to drive on the American roads I've only seen in your videos! 😍😍
Happy New Year to you Chris!!! Great trip👍👍✌✌
Thank you! Same to you.

Amazing job with the video! I recommend doing Milwaukee to Boston. I drove that last spring and it was amazing
Thank you!
Love any Sierra Highway drive.
It was a nice alternative to CA-14 as well.
@@unclecoolie Also enjoyed the old road between Palmdale and I-5, as well as the drive thru a lot of LA neighborhoods I'd never see otherwise.

Thanks. I live in VA, and frequently we drive up north to visit relatives, so having an E-ZPass is a must.
