King's Field, is an action RPG developed by From Software (best known for the Dark Souls series) for the PlayStation. It is a first-person 3D action role-playing game with heavy emphasis on dungeon crawling. The game takes place in world consisting of interconnected areas, which gradually open up as the player acquires keys and other means to enter them. Most of the time the player is free to explore large areas, though he may encounter powerful enemies he is yet unable to defeat.
lapogne36 ( tasvideos.org/... ), abusing an out-of-bounds glitch, defeats the dragon in record time.
Wow one of my fave obscure games finally TAS'ed! This is technically the second King's Field game, the first was only released in Japan.
I really like that you're secretly able to get the Moonlight Sword right at the end of this game.
They didn't need to make it an actual item because noone would be stupid enough to try and get past the dragon, but they did so anyways, adding effects and sword magic.
It quite literally is Seath, holy crap
I enjoyed how the plot in each game was taking down one of the mythical giants of ancient times as some lowly grunt.
I like seeing all the magic TAS never used at the end.
John Alfred Forrester: hey can you get the moonlight sword back for me
Aleph Thornton Regginis: sorry buddy my royal duties are kinda tight and i -
John: my parents won’t be home
Aleph:
This Minecraft run is lit.
this video is in 4k... appaerantly. great use of 4k :D
I love how he gets on top of the dragon!
The thumbnail compelled me to ponder the orb.
I thought this would be King`s Field 1...
Maybe add the US disclaimer?
i like how the credits are about as long as the run is lmao.
From software is best known to me for the tenchu Z game. Fucking loved it.
Pre Dark Souls
Are you sure?
IMO, the Souls series is the spiritual successor to the King's Field series.
1:54 gaahh damn 😭
I don’t get it. How do they get the wall boosting all the time. Is that a new glitch?
yea ig
Not a new glitch but an extremely precise one, your angle must have an exact value for it to work perfectly (360° = 4096 different possible values).
Funny how a Smash player does TAS.
