oh wow at first glance this looks like a retro styled game but nope its from that era good to know the little pointy eared fox warrior character is a timeless design
10:33 that room is so awful in a casual playthrough, it's the most annoying part of the entire game! happy to see it be disrespected so utterly. I wonder if that skip is viable realtime
Please can we have a playlist of games depending on their versions, like NES in one place, SNES in the other and the like? It would be lovely if you can sort them all accordingly🙏🏼
The psx/N64 era was full of weird stuff like this. 3D console gaming was brand new and experimental. For every Banjo Kazooie or Crash Bandicoot or Mario 64 you had 10 Blue Brothers 2000 or Earthworm Jim 3D or Chameleon Twist.
I think the game would be better if it didn't look like it was always night time (except for a few instances) due to the black fading effect so the game wouldn't have to render a lot combined with a black skybox and no ceilings, especially inside buildings.
Strafing seems to be a last minute addition because jt has very fun quirks like that (being able to strafe while dead). You can also open the pause menu during the fadeout on death, but currently that doesn't have a use other than looking cool.

That boss fight kill at 13:35 was hilarious 😄
Why that game feel nostalgic even if I never seen it
Ocarina of Tunic

luckily, all upwarps are usable in an RTA run. in fact, almost every upwarp used here is used in the RTA WR as well, aside from a few i found myself

Omg i had a demo of this game back in the day
Nice TAS.
Remember getting this for my birthday back in the day. Quite a hard game though!
This game doesn't feel real, it feels like the kind of thing you'd see in a high effort creepypasta... and yet, it is real
I like how back then you could unironically have a villain named *Bad* *Custard* and nobody batted an eye
What? How? Theres nothing creepy about this.
@devonlord-moncrief9355 yeah, just same vibe though.
