welcome to MTG in the year of our lord 2021. You only get to play uncommons if they're removal and commons are strictly draft chaff or for use in ladder grind mono red and mono white agro.
That's been my issue too. If you're not willing to pay real money (like me), it is still possible to make decent headway, but you'll be playing that same one or two decks you have quite often. It's a grind, but it is possible to keep up. The real challenge, for me at least, lies in not considering that grind a chore. If I don't feel like playing, I won't. Trying to force it will just make me want to stop playing the game long term. Plus, there's always drafts to shake things up, if you ever get tired of facing standard decks with their super strong cards. It's nice to get into a draft every once in a while where you'll only have to face one bomb per deck, if that. Many decks don't even have any and it's not too difficult to break even. And even if you operate on a loss, you always get to something out of the deal. You may have to work your way back up afterwards, but it doesn't usually take too long. All in all, the game is fun and diverse enough that it's possible to enjoy on a F2P basis, provided you don't set your sights too high.
@@Xylarxcode I'm willing to pay real money. I'm not willing to pay real money for packs with the "wrong" mythics and rares, and a tiny chance for wildcards if I buy 30 or so. Nice Addition, that you now Put the mentioned cards always in Display. I really appreciate the extra effort, especially for new Players this is very helpful.
Agadeem's Awakening is really nice in this Deck. Get everything back TWICE. Necroduality triggers when the creature enters (not like reflections of littjara when you cast it). It also helps avoiding flood/screw. And the best sweeper for this Deck is imho Meathook Massacre (not Fear/Snow). You can play it for 0 vs. Control. So they are dead when they use their sweeper.
Meathook was certainly worth a mention in the extra cards segment. I like Agadeem's more in BO3 where there's fewer aggro decks to punish the life loss.
What about the one from Kaldheim that gets back everything of the same type? Seems like a good fit for a deck full of zombies, although it is a bit expensive if you just want a couple creatures back to finish the game.
I've been crazy into my red black vamp deck with blood tokens. I splashed white yesterday for that vampire that dies and becomes an artifact and spawns 3 2/2 lifelink vamps and then returns to battlefield on its own. That and Sorin himself with tokens. It's so dope and I see bigger board presences now amongst all the colors. Used to just be scute swarm, dumb landfall cats (🧂 incl) and elves
I usually try not to net deck, but this list looks so fun I want to give it a try. I had some success with zombie aggro last season, this list seems like a fun shakeup. I ran 4 copies of "Flip the Switch" to deal with the turn 4 or 5 sweeper, but Amalgam seems like a strict upgrade on that card

I have some doubts that going for snowlands and necroduality is the best way to play zombies. I think tempo variant with more instant speed interactions with flip the switch and the zombie tribal instant that taps creatures and draws a card might be quite a bit better to go with amalgam, and get those hits with huge champions in. Flip the switch also provides some nice exploit fodder, and if we don't play snow, mana will be quite a bit better. But maybe priest is just too good to pass, and I'm underestimating it too much.
@@LegenVD Makes sense. I think zombie deck had potential to compete with other best decks in the format, but Necroduality just feels way too clunky for competitive scene. But this is probably one of the best variants of the deck specifically built around it.

I really feel like you should remove priest of haunted edge if for no other reason than the meta is just so control heavy that it’s going to really set you back at times.
