Looks very impressive and practical. Easy to use.
I have this exact same box after stepping up from an atantis 200. This is an absolutely brilliant roof box with the best locking system out there. Double sided opening and clutch system for the locking cam. Great volume at 500l and use it mainly for snowboarding on roof of MB GLC. Pretty low noise from aerodynamic profile.

Hi, undecided between the L and the XL in terms of size on my roof bars ideally want to get the Xl if it will fit width wise onto my bars. The thule specs don't show the distance between the fast clamp points only the width of the actual outer box. Can you tell me the distance between the clamp rails horizontally? Thanks
Just ordered this box for my 2017 vw Tiguan , went for the glossy black to match the black car, from the pictures I've seen it look really smart

I'm not for sure, but when I bought my thule motion XT Xl. The sale associated told me that all the motion Xt are use the same key lock. Any suggestions.

I just picked up the XT Force yesterday and when I tightened it down I don’t hear the clicking as it should. Tried adjusting numerous times but it just tightens with no clicks on the knob.
After a Highway drive, it seems a bit loose and as if I could torque it down a bit more. A little paranoid now 😂
I think that the Motion model has the click, but that the Force model does not.
@@alexballew Hey Alex! I have a custom stainless steel roof rack so I figured out I reeally have to over torque it. Finally heard the click lol 6hr road trip to the ski resort and it’s still snug thankfully 🙏🏼

Hi, its correct. only 3 straps, but they are long so you can fasten the other ones to if you want. This is a demo version just for show.

Mazda cx 5 is problematic becuase of the fixpoints, you cant move the roofrack. dont know on how it is on the 2019 model yet but i sending you a link so you can see.

then the bagagedoor has a wing that gives more problem, everytime we mont a big box the bagage door hits the end of the box so y maybe have 30-40 procent fallout on the angle.
you can have any box on and the bagage door aint gonna get damaged but little bit less chans 2 get in and out with your stuff. just be gentle when y open it.
a smaller box is recommended on this car, max length 190 cm is god, i have one on the link. Hapro traxxer 6,6 for example.

Thule is very expensive but their quality is good. Still they could drop it a bit in the cost department and still make money.
