Hello, great video, though I don’t understand much 😉 I have a Passat Variant B8 and looking to buy a box - mostly for skiing (3x skis, 1x snowboard)and maybe some summer vacation ( stand up paddle and so on). My choice is between Thule Dynamic L and Thule Motion XT Alpine. Like it to loom sleek on car too. What would you choose between those two and why? I checked - they have pretty same dimensions, length, capacity and height.

dynamic is no longer manufactured and alpine is the one to take over, more cargo space and the design is reminiscent of alien formats. however, dynamic is one of my favorites, classic
another favorite is hapro nordic. both are spacious and stylish. hope this has helped

Hi, nice video. What car is that? I read that the combination of wingbar edge with motion alpine might not work on certain cars when the space for the box on the wings is not wide enough. Is that an issue? Plan to use the combo on an Mercedes E T-Model

Iam glad that you like the video, this is a volkswagen passat, would say that this roof box fits combi cars, larger suv etc, may not be suitable for smaller cars as this is quite long. would say that everything is about the need and this fulfills quite a lot

you have to look this up with thules fitguide on their website or your local dealship who sells thule, th 9595 is never to be bought, old version. th 9586 dont exists. check thules website for what is recommended for your car, regards johan

Hi, could you please tell me what is the max. height reached by the box over the passat b8? I have a limit of 1,90 exiting the parking and I have not found the exact height of bars+box un thule info. Thanks on advance!

hi, cant answer that correctly and when you have so narrow to roof, the height on roofrack and box are maybe 45 cm total isch. så 45+ your cars height total, there you hade an isch standard

Hej.. Har en Passat alltrack och en garage öppning som är 2.10m hög. Vilken takbox från Thule skulle fungera att använda för mer eller mindre permanent montering utan att jag lår i taket. Har normalhöga takräcken. Följde med bilen när jag köpte min Passat. Osäker på märke dock.

du kan välja vilken box som helst, 210 cm är högt. om du inte har specialare till garage så inga problem. vi har 205 cm och bilarna åker ut med stor takbox, förutom suvar då
