Sooo... we all know that carrier oils are molecular stru ture small enought to "carry" (hence the reference) INto (not ONto) the skin. I do see how we may have to reapply more often than with chemicals, but I can't imagine how dragging the scent that we need topically beneath the skin will be helpful. Please, if I am wrong in my thinking, I am open to correction. I love this hack, so what are you other folks finding is the best way to apply? I've even seen people rub it on straight outta the bottle.
Hi! Great question 💕 in this case, for me anyway, it is a question of the CBD oil as a carrier or the alcohol base as the carrier- since both are ‘carriers’ of the vanilla pod. I believe the oil overs a greater area of skin for longer periods of time while the CBD helps balance PH levels of the skin, additionally repelling biting bugs. Hope that helps? I thought the SAME thing when I saw people doing this 😂 like , I love vanilla oil but not when I’m out there with bears 🤣 I prefer using citronella and geranium oil for ‘bug spray’ but Summer Nights is more like a body oil that also repels bugs , if that makes sense? simplejane.co/product/summer-nights-non-toxic-bug-spray-sunburn-soother/
