Now that the Super Friends have dealt with one, there's only six more to go.

And the never ending Ted Knight has left his home at Bushwood Country Club and his nephew, Spaulding, to narrate this adventure. Reminds me of the CMDF. The Combined Miniaturized Defense Force. Also, "Get off my lawn!"

What could possibly go wrong? (Steve McQueen might know.)

In the comics Wendy and Marvin actually know the Wonder twins and Wonder dog was an alien that killed Marvin and Mauled windy. They have since been retcon back into the story every blue moon in which both Wendy and Marvin are alive

Believe me, I know she's the star. She knows it, too, and she's a prima donna, believe me!

It's almost like they switched Marvin and Wendy in that sequence where they were plotting the flight paths. They must be great bike riders to go from the city to the sticks and back that quickly... unless we want to believe those guys are a version of the Beverly Hillbillies.
Arbitrary skepticism. It's a wonderful thing. We buy a man who flys, has heat vision, freeze breath, invulnerability, x-ray vision, and a host of other powers (but exposure to his home planet can kill him). A piece of white dwarf star... do we really say "that's now how things work?" there?
I was going to wonder why the floating island sank with the mushrooms, because they'd need to draw from the soil the nutrients and the like. I was also going to wonder why Raven forgot about his aircraft.
    But that arbitrary skepticism...
Oh, Irving missed his chance to use a clip of Peter Dinklage as the white dwarf star. I only mention it because when the Penn & Teller BS show on The Apocalypse had a segment with a guy claiming a brown dwarf star was going to destroy Earth in 2012. They went to the expense of hiring Gary Coleman so they could specifically ask him if he was planning to destroy the world in 2012. He said "Yes".

It wasn't explicitly mentioned, but the mushrooms had some kind of property that negated the effects of the white dwarf.
As for Peter Dinklage, keep a couple of things in mind:
      - I don't watch TV so I never saw Game of Thrones.
      - I'm old enough that when I hear something about a white dwarf I think of Billy Barty!
Keep the comments coming. I really enjoy them.

@@dwashbur For this Gen Xer, Billy Barty was actually my first thought of who to use (mostly from Sid & Marty Kroft shows, especially Dr. Shrinker), followed by Warwick Davis (from Star Wars and Willow, though to be honest, I never liked Willow very much). I ultimately went with Peter Dinklage because he's probably the best known "white dwarf star" of the modern era (and I'd put a dollar on him being the most successful actor of that type of all time). I did watch "Game of Thrones", but he's also been in X-Men and MCU films.

Michael Dunn from the Wild Wild West was another that I really enjoyed. I had thought of Warwick Davis, but Billy Barty dates me more accurately, heh heh.

Wendy and Marvin ruined the Superfriends. When the Superfriends fought the Legion of Doom, they were great episodes.

To each their own. I enjoy their contribution. Maybe it's partly because I can identify with Marvin. The bright, socially awkward kid who just wants to make the kind of contribution that he knows he is capable of, but rarely if ever manages to get it completely right and stumbles a lot in his efforts. That was me right up to the present day.

@@ericzerkle8486 actually Wendy and Marvin are the better sidekicks than the Wonder Twins. At least they actually did try to help in more ways than just "Let's fill the runtime with a transformation that barely does anything and forces Superman or Wonder Woman to have to save our hides."
Sure that last part did still happen to Wendy and Marvin on occasion, but at least they were actually trying to move the plot along by helping the Super Friends look for clues to what's going on...effectively serving as sucessors to Snapper Carr after his "Joker duped him" moment which was also around the first Scooby-popularity height.
They even had actual reasons to be there too. Wendy was the niece of Detective Harris who was a mentor of Batman's...and Marvin White was the son of the original Diana Prince now known as Diana White (not to be confused with Vanna, lol!)...sorta making him Diana's nephew...it's not every day that the boy's connected to Wonder Woman...and he was connected to her "before it was cool" to most people...and he might have been able to do her old gliding trick at some point if Wendy (who later becomes Barbara Gordon's sidekick Proxy) hadn't got annoyed with him...and when they talk about the origins...well I'm sure Marvin has a hard time keeping the "my mom let Wonder Woman use her maiden name so that she could be with my dad and now I'm here" part of the origin a secret.
