Great video as always, but sound seems a bit off, maybe the wrong microphone was recorded.
Could you make a video about the geological and petrophysics features in the Gulf of Thailand, such as Valeura's that are very thin and require continuous drilling to maintain reserves? 🙏

Thanks for your comment and correct observation. For this video we had to use the computer's microphone and the quality is not as good as usual. We are investing and using better filming/editing, sound systems etc. But this costs way more money than we receive for our videos. (Perhaps a benevolent sponsor out there may want to help us).We will take a look at the Gulf of Thailand database we have in TROVE and assess if we have enough for a video. Thin reservoirs can be problematic - for a number of reasons. I don't have first hand experience of Valero's assets but we should be able to feature analogues where the team have direct experience. Watch this space!

I am a self taught geophysical interpreter of 30 years experience with a very keen and sincere interest in global gravity, radiometric and magnetic field interpretation and just want to say thankyou for your superb analysis of these on and offshore oil basins. The detailed seismic transect information you freely share is bloody wonderful but I do note the absence of any on or off shore gravity data. Billion barrel fractured granite oil fields is also an amazing anomalous geologic insight to consider. Regards Rory, Tasmania.

Thanks for your comment Rory. Hope all is well down in Tasmania! We don't have time to go into a full geophysical review in our videos. We struggle to know how much detail or varied audience want. The experienced industry experts like yourself would love much more. However, we would alienate/confuse those unfamiliar with the huge range of technologies in the oil & gas industry. If our videos educate and encourage further study/technical debate, we have achieved our object. Thanks again and I hope you revisit our channel for a range to videos we are planning over the coming weeks and months. ATB, Mike
