With this build you will once again be able to make snipe good and even bring down some of the tankiest players around. This is hands down the best pvp build for a eso nightblade sniper. It really is a blast to play and will likely get nerfed!
This build has been tested on PTS thoroughly for a number of weeks and has been min-maxed for Scions of Ithelia - Update 41.
A massive thank you to Elwynee for helping test the build and being an amazing target dummy with 32k hp, 33k armour, full impen and iron clad cp, allowing me to find the best setup/combos!

Farmed the gear today and took it out for a spin in Cyrodiil. This build is a LOT of fun. I can't remember the last time my sniper felt useful in Cyro. Also, that extra bit of tankiness makes a massive difference. I'm used to rolling with almost 0 extra health, and when I got streaked by a sorc I figured it was time to start thinking about where to respawn, but no, there was till enough life in the tank for some evasive maneuvering. That extra 10k saved me a few times. Thanks again for sharing :D
Interesting set choices. I have been using Shattered Fate with New Moon and Wild Hunt ring combined with the new Focused Aim (Always gives Sundered, which gives Minor Breach + 100WD/SD) + Crushing Weapon (Major Breach) + 13k pen + Shadow + Khajit makes you hit really hard. Most of the time you can just light attack/crushing weapon weave people down in 1-3 weaves. You even get more burst from the Pjsic Orb that procs off Crushing Weapon, which can also proc the buffed overcharge. Combined with a timed merciless resolve/incap you can really burst people down. In big team fights you can help your allies kill hard to kill players by applying the minor/major breach to them.
I used a similar setup but with poisonous serpent + way of the fire and light attack spam. The follow up is nice but this is designed to be bursty instead - look at the gameplay to see yourself :)

Thanks, I got the build done. It hits about twice as hard as my old gank/sniper build. Which is pretty good, but on Playstation-NA server most of the Cyrodiil players do run tanky so my gank success rate is a little under 50% so far. But, way better than before with old sniper build. I morphed silver bolts though, I find the multi player damage pretty important for being useful to the alliance.
That's why I'm here - I like making stuff that actually works :)
Just a note about poison injection. I wouldnt use it as my spammable/weave attack with light attack, but I did put it on my bar where vigor is on yours. Its really great utility for zergs. Poison injection is right up there with Elemental Sus when it comes to annoyance. Elemental lasts 30 seconds, and Poison inject lasts 20. While poison inject is on someone way of the fire and tarnished will proc consciously. If you poison inject a group of people 1 by one and their pets it turns them all into a walking AOE bomb that procs A LOT. In BG's you can run around spamming poison injection on everyone and their pets and wreck havoc. Its pretty hilarious. Again I wouldnt use it as a burst tool or ganking tool as it keeps you out of stealth on poison ticks but over all its nice utility and it really pisses people off when they sit there and explode for 20 seconds.
Agreed - using it with way of fire is fun. Even better with sellitrix. Burst is low though.
hey great video! Wanted to ask if tarnished nightmare was not subject to the proc set global cd? Like instant proc sets not going on at the same time. But since it procced with way of fire maybe its excluded?
Tarnish procs on hit. Fire procs on follow up LA which causes it to work around that global cooldown thus meaning they both proc on opening combo. Video gameplay is on the way!

Soooo awesome to see Ring of the Wild Hunt getting some play again. Love that mythic. What set and modifications would you suggest for someone who probably won't have access to Tarnished Nightmare until long after it gets nerfed? I realize it won't be nearly as good, but I love sniping enough that I'm willing to make concessions ;D

I’m still a fan of one bar builds I think they’re simpler and easier for somebody like me a more casual gamer, who still enjoys a great PVP battle, so what would this Build look like with the one bar? Using 2 five pieces, one monster, and Oakensoul ❤
I've made 1 bar builds and have made a 1 bar version of this. It is currently on Patreon and will be released at some point. It uses oaken and changes traits and skills to make it feel the same with similar damage.

What might you suggest in place of that back bar greatsword? It would take forever to farm for. You mentioned I could just get a second bow of the fire and put it there?

I use greatsword of the seducer for the magika regen while i swap over, there are sets with 2 piece stam regen as well.
I made a greatsword of senche Raht. Two piece bonus gives an extra 4% healing done

5:54 stam morph relentless is bugged, magica morph stacks stay when u leave combat relentless looses all stacks, or did they fix it with gold road patch?

Is khajiit important for this sniper? If yes which race is the second best for this? Orc, Woodelf, Dark Elf, Imperial? 😅
Khajiit = more crit/burst if you crit
Dark elf = more consistent damage

You think the movement speed from Orc helps this sniper alot? And Orc have the consistent damage too with the weapon/spell damage.. Maybe orc better pick than dark elf?
@kostapaok6923 we hit movement cap anyway so orc makes no difference.
Wild hunt 15% in combat
Minor expedition 15%
Celerity 10%
Major expedition 30%
Steed mundus 16%
Total 86% in combat
Out of combat we get an additional 50% from green cp and wild hunt making us exceed the 100% movement speed cap.
Dark elf has more damage than orc as more stam plus same weapon damage value.

As far as crushing weapon being clunky - shoot arrow and then activate. Works great! Sniker has a good video on the mechanics.
Oh and very excited to try this build!
I was using that a few patches back but it is clunky on the follow up. You can LA then crushing weapon which applies to the LA in the air. The issue is the skill doesn't always fire or when you try to weave follow up hits it goes clunky.
I saw this with tarnished Nighmare and Atemirs Konstruktion with Oakensoul
I prefer this simple because you have the range and don't need to rely on the heavy attack set proc to land. Often does but can miss and has a cooldown too.

I'm a bit new (well old, played when ESO first came out). Outside of the slotted champion points what other CPs do I need to get for this build?
Basically anything that is yellow and seems useful i.e. 100 weapon and spell damage to martial attacks.
Looks great, can't wait for console release. My main PVP for years has been a sniper NB but it hasn't hit hard for a long time, can only gank the squishiest of players.
Also why did you pick Malevolent Offering, is it just for the heal? And wouldn't it be an idea to have Camouflaged Hunter on there for the Major Savagery, and Minor Beserk on flank?
I chose the merciless front bar as I fire it at times. Camo hunter is a good option for sure and I did consider it but found the bonus damage didn't increase time to kill

You get Major Savand proph from Cloaked shadow now while its on either bar. Camo hunter's only benefit is the 5% dmg from flank.

Another question would be, why shock enchant and not something like disease enchant on the bow?

If you're trying to level you can use on your back bar a shock staff and wall of elements or a bow and endless hail. Then use caltrops too. Front bar you can use a 2h and use cleave or whirling blades on 2h. Bow could use acid spray. You can reset skills for gold in major cities like elden root.
Would orders wrath be good with the new set. With the extra crit damage

Get to 50 ASAP as below 50 bgs and pvp has a scaling that makes builds and balance all messed up.
Way of the fire + shattered fate (crafted) as a starter setup.

There are 1 page break downs on Patreon. The issue is that with a text version, people don't actually read it as you intend and get misinformation:
"We use lethal arrow as it hits hard, great range and applies a debuff." What it doesn't say is that: "We use lethal arrow as it hits hard because it applies a debuff that also does damage on proc boosting the initial hit. It also has great range that allows us to hit people who are running away - especially on horseback."
The video format instead allows me to do this and also gives people a forum to post a comment so I can reply like this.

You sure the lover is more damage than shadow? Im kind of torn between the two.
Yeah - shadow is more burst just if you crit a lot but if not then lover. As such lover works out more consistent damage and higher as a result on average.
@@Unified-Gaming I think your right. After playing in cyro a lot last night with shadow first and then lover, I seemed to get better results with lover. For BGs Ive been using the Warrior and blowing people up. If I wasnt addicted to Wild hunt I'd consider pairing a monster set helm/shoulder with it as well. Isnt there a new helm/shoulder combo that procs physical damage by throwing an axe or something?

silver bolts and silver shards do the same damage. The difference you are seeing is due to silver bolts being buffed by your blue cp (deadly aim)
Bingo! That's why. It's a shame really as it seems counter intuitive to use the morph that way.

silver bolts does more dmg than shards because bolts is a single target attack, and you have the CP ability to boost SINGLE TARGET attacks.

@Vemto. the cp deadly aim doesn't but as the skill becomes aoe. So you're better keeping base morph.

Apparently they changed something with the relentless focus today. In PvE it stacks correctly, but in PvP the stack disappears after a few seconds like it used to. Is it just me? I can't imagine it. A skill that works differently in PvP than in PvE is crap. Has anyone else had this experience with a skill since today? I would be grateful for any information.
@@andreasscherf1736 the buff turns off when out combat but on when in so applies still. Ui error in essence. It should turn off though and not last infinitely

Sorry, but just wanted to say it's from Bedlam Veil, not OP... The Cinder one is decent too... Pressure for days... If you pair tarnish with cinder, poison injection procs both sets twice... Love your videos, dude... I need to get this way of the fire set though...

It is up there for sure - sorc is also VERY strong....
Detect potion and two hits = dead nightblade.
Easy to counter the entire class. Actually the EASIEST class to counter.
@@irishsage2459 I ain't making all that. I'll just take straight back shots. invs -> Incapacitating Strike -> merciless resolve -> run away into the nearest corner -> repeat (I died from the first incap strike)
@@Unified-Gaming Aside from the strange balancing issues with nightblade and abyssmal state of necro I'd say it's pretty balanced now. Except there is a necro build out there that is pretty good i'm talking 'casual' 1mil+ dmg 150k+ heals 0 deaths in bg but I couldn't get the info outta him as usual from sweaty pvpers.
@irishsage2459 Nightblade played well with movement isn't that hard to counter. Other classes have more counters imo
Hey Dan, any particular reason you like Lethal arrow over Focused Aim? Just curious.
Status does damage that's why and also helps with range gauging in so you can be close enough with silver bolts
Relentless focus doesnt actually stay on forever. Once the target that you applied to activate the relentless dies your activation dies too
It toggles on new target at max stacks. It looks somewhat buggy tbh
@@Unified-Gaming yes ive tried everything in BGs and Dungeons. Once the target is dead. You lose the activion of Relentless and your weap/spell dmg goes back to normal. Much harder now cus you have to keep finding new targets and redo the activation and sometimes they die quickly so the process starts all over again to activate it
@poopoo09 good spot! Thanks for commenting back too. In that case I'd, still keep it but could swap camo hunter front bar and drop it if you move skills around. Gives minor beserk that way or use vamp toggle - simmering frenzy

How are you able to bar swap while cloaking and switching bars to siphon while remaining to keep running? Its hard to bar swapwhen its on a controlled D pad
I use a controller, and it is left on my xbox controller. It is muscle memory and speed. If you find it hard, consider double baring cloak and dropping the burst heal
Hi! Thanks for the reply and also do you recomment like Rallying Cry or Shattered Fate or Orders Wrath as the Front Bar sets? I kinda feel The set of the fire doesnt dispense that much damage compared to the set i mentioned unless im reading it wrong or you know something i dont with the Fire set?
@poopoo09 fire crits and you get 2 procs in the burst combo. 1 on first snipe then 1 on the end LA. It crits on first hit so within the burst combo it does around 3-6k damage similar to tarnished but if you fail you still get the set able to keep firing every 2s. In my opinion it is worth using
Bar swap can be remapped to say a bumper then use the left arrow as the bar slot and use that for passive skills like camo hunter or concealed

Step by step. So first i want to activate Relentless Focus so i have to light attack 5x and now, How do i do the Rotation to maximize damage and burst?
Last Question - How are you able to Generate 12000k+ worth of penetration? Because i noticed your weapon is Sharpened and then Kragh Helm but even with all gear in Divines - 12k penetration seems a far stretch away to achieve with the gear you have equipped.

Make left on Dpad crouch and make R3 bar swap. Did that years ago and never went back
