Thanks for sharing this very detailed overview. I like the dvf wrap dress pattern and I'm going to get a copy of that. Do you think youll make a tutorial or pattern review for that pattern? I love dvf designs and the history lesson is appreciated

It's possible. I am going to get that dvf pattern. Don't know if I'll sew it before summer's end, though. I'll definitely keep you posted.

That loose fitted mustard coloured dress, did it have fabric suggestions? The hem seemed to droup and i was wondering if fabric choice would have informed that.

Yes, the fabric suggestions are on the back of the envelope. They are challis, charmeuse, linen blends, silky crepe and rayon crepe. A good selection of fabrics to choose from

What happened to Vogue Basic Designs that gave 5 variations on separates that made a week’s worth of looks for a reasonable price.
