@@MattWillisBagpiper is there a specific book you start your students off with ?
Not a book per se, but instead, I use the same lesson materials that are included with the videos in my Basics Series: bit.ly/BasicsPipes
This is awesome. I've been struggling with my birls for 25 years and this is incredibly helpful to clean up my technique. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
More than one pinky. I knew that was how pipers did this thing.
Ha! Didn't mean to reveal that in the thumbnail. ;)

Hi Matt. For me I have a hard time to do the Birl with out moving my B finger, it usually arches up and moves forward. I will give one of these a try.

@@MattWillisBagpiper Thank You Matt. This is what I need.
Hi Matt, thank you so much for all your helpful videos. I am pretty good at performing birls with the practice chanter, but when I try to play them on the full pipes they seldom come out as they should. I have been practicing for months and still I don't seem to improve much. Do you think it might be a posture problem? (I mean, the position of my hands/arms respect to the chanter?)
Do you have lessons for playing modern music for bagpipes
