Also, Romania shares a lot of slav similarities, like, we also like "kompot", it's the same thing, still done by babushka, we write it like this "compot" but it reads the same as you read it in your videos :)
Mayonnaise? ohh.. we are big consumes, especially combined with garlic. It's also done by us in-house for different recipes.
Beer? yes yes... we like and produce some good brands (except the prices are a bit big because of EU taxes).
Vodka? we drink allot, but produce little and of bad quality. I for one prefer the Ukrainian vodka :D
We do have our own strong beverage, it's called "ţuică" or "pălincă" and I see it translates into brandy, but it's more like moon-shine from the US spies, and we do it out of plums or grapes.
