- I have had a loot of trouble keeping the Commoners happy. This is mainly because of a lack of refined food. It is time to fix that problem with a huge expansion of food production. I also figure out how to use the city market and upgrader it so that is actually delivers results.

Surtr, I ran into the "Villager path blocked" issue as well. It seemed to be limited to tax collectors not being able to get to mines. On the Steam forum I was told this is a bug. To get around it disable taxes on mines, edit the mine and remove all of the mine parts. Then rebuild and enable taxes on mines. For me that solved the problem.

@@David-sq9ng you could also move all the cranes and other attached buildings far away from the center of the node (to the side basically)

Honestly the best tip I could give anyone in general is to make sure your meat production and bread production is at least at a 150+ surplus before upgrading any serf to commoners
I am definitely going to have to keep that in mind going forward.
Another fine video! The progress is tremendous, and it's good to see you tackling the food (and food distribution) dilemma. I wonder if the steel construction is associated with the 'castle line' of buildings?
Thanks. I think that you can only import steel which is really odd since steel was really easy to make and we have all the materials. All we would need is a furnace.

Ok, at 16:50 or so, you comment about changing taxes - This Has To Do With Person Stuck At Mine Site - .. you are Taxing all your mining sites, that person who keeps getting stuck at the one mine site on the hill is because they have no PATH up/Down the hill they can use to GET the taxes (they path INTO the rock) my suggestion would be to try building a few bridges UP the rock face to make some of the pathing easier, IF it is the same tax collector doing it, you can change their job to something else, and see if they can path to it, and then change them back to the Tax Collector (possible way to get the pathing reset on them).
Its a bug with the quarries. See the next episode. And now it happened with a gold mine, that was not a problem before.

Can I ask when you trade and you have multiple warehouses/Granaries, which ones are used to sell/ and which ones receive foods/goods?
If you've got a meat shortage but a surplus of cash inflow you can just buy the boars since they cost 2 gold each, either way turning them into meat will produce 5 which you can sell for profit

@@surtrplays 4 butchery places with 8 serfs is good or 2 butcheries with 4 commoners tho they are more demanding
I have 2 full of commoners and they are not keeping up.
@@surtrplays you have to offset it with bread, like one side of the community with bread the other side with meat. The issue with commoners is they require two refined foods so your little bread production is basically needed to feed your whole village plus those commoners you have. That's why having them is a real pain, the game is scamming you by telling you to upgrade them as an advice
For the beer, isn't it hops you have to grow or is it kade from wheat?
