Jan - come back to England soon! I first heard you play this summer (2013) at the Promenade Concerts in London. (I wasn't there but saw it on my enormous television :-) I will always follow your career and buy your recordings. You are an inspiration to all Western Europeans and we treasure you! I am sure Canada does also.
I love this concerto so much! I got to see Jan play it in Cleveland and now I'm so excited that I get to perform it with our local orchestra... I only hope I can get it this perfect. =D
Jan you certainly did musical justice to this Larghetto. In the past, I have heard some young pianists with marvelous technique who seem not to have been able to restrain themselves and, consequently, played everything they touched in a rushed manner. You make music and touch the soul. Thank you.
