I have watched a lot of documentaries in my time. from the Legendary ships of the ocean. to cars, trucks, and lorries. restoration and new builds to disasters. but this is by far the best documentary I have ever watched! and I'm certain if Dr 1202 was real that this would be definitely how they would show it. I absolutely love the sections with Zeke, Mr smash and Mr dark to be Absolutely Gold. let's all raise a glass to Dr 1202 aka Rick!!
I have to say the person who did the narration for this has really captured the feeling of a typical documentary narrator from the 70s & 80s with his very articulate British accent. Very well done.
This probably would've made a great rendition to the Railway Series. Imagine if this entire film was conveyed into a long story to read as part of the series.
Not likely as Tornado doesn't exist in 77c as 60114 WP Alen is the sole surviving A1. But I think we could definitely see Rick meet another new build one day

I imagine it will be Gwion Rhys Davies/Mr Chairman under a pseudonym name
i love how these documentery videos you do are in a style where the engines arnt acknowledged as sentient
On my 25th birthday?
This will be such a treat!
Wonderfully done and it’s nice to hear someone and hear so old names
This was great. In-universe documentaries are such a fun genre.
Love the BBC style narration
Is this the in universe documentary you mentioned some time back?
It is indeed.

this shall be interesting to watch
So this is the backstory of the big thing i once saw online.
Nice work just a question can i make DR1202 and wallschurch cathedral in a other game
I guess so?
@@DDJP THANK YOU SO MUCH
Is it ok if u send me some pictures of them so I can add really good details
Wait... Gordon is an LNER A2? Interesting...
He did appear in a previous series of TDRS
In this universe, yes.
I won't be able to make it to this one, my PC aircon nearly died so I'm waiting on a new one.
I just notice gordon isn't an A1 in this universe
if this is going to tell the life of Robert then it better say that about his beaver
Now I'm wondering if there will be an episode where Rick meets Tornado. As fellow locos built from scratch.

@@peterfoxon5498isn't Tornado a newbuild built in the early 2000's? Which is still far off from the where in the timeline the series is.
Dosen t DR 1202 Mean that there IS an DR 1201 ?
How did they “loose a mountain”?!? Land can’t walk!!!!
Wonder how much tractive effort this baby would have.

I hope the narrator doesn’t put on a Sir David Attenborough-like voice.
Well, in this case, it sounds more like Sir Thomas Courtney, in all honesty.
