Lynels are Fallen Heroes. They weren't always evil. They were once humans, and turned evil because of Ganon. In fact, they'll give you an infinite number of chances to defeat them if they end up making you game over, and if you hack the game so that they don't have weapons, they won't attack at all! And a lot of them don't attack on sight.

It was a windbomb by the way. But just so you know, you can't hold an item to cancel a windbomb NORMALLY. You actually have to do a trick called "Item Hold Smuggling". This "Item Hold Smuggling" glitch lets you hold items when you normally can't. This can stop animations. Blackmars used this to stop the speed of the windbomb. To do this you need to menu overload. You can do this by equipping a multi-shot bows with shock arrows. Now drop the bow and equip another. Repeat this until link's body parts disappear on the pause menu. Now just hold an item. THIS IS A ONE TIME USE, Allowing you to hold items whenever you want.

It can be used to cancel the flying part of revali's and other things. It's just takes 30 seconds to set up. That's probably the reason most people don't use it and also why you didn't know about it.

I think he did a Wind bomb after using Stasis + on the Lynel, and then, he ran to the stable.

@@Hiro-750 I think you must use Stasis + when the yiga does the flip before chasing you, and then, you use Revali's Gale or jump from a higher ground and do a Wind bomb.
And when the Stasis + is over, the yiga will chase you until he reach you or is being stuck.
