I think their success is mainly due to their chemistry together although I love them all individually I think they bring out the best in each other compliment each others comedy. 4:25 for example
I’m hardcore addicted to this show. I watched it all when it aired but I still watch it on Hulu. I’ve seen every episode at least 10x each. I just let it play non stop. My favorite episodes are Dry Guys, True Dromance, Juggahoes, man I could keep naming them but it would probably be at least half the episodes..
This show would have sucked without Adam. His accidents were by far the funniest things of the show. Going down the wooden waterslide made me laugh so hard I cried.
I hated him at first and blake, but after watching it a second time I understood his role,it would of been shit indeed, still not sold on blake even after watching it twice, the humping the girls leg scene really threw me off him
Ngl I'm a little more complicated than that. At first I loved all 7 seasons without question. But then reality starts to set in and you begin to notice things you don't like. After rewatching the whole series(multiple times) I can say that I love seasons 1-5. I loved like half of season 5 and disliked the other half. Seasons 6 and 7 weren't terrible, but they could have been better. And the absolute final episode doesn't really do or say anything. I was hoping their lives would get better or something big might change, but it was really meh. Nothing really happened and then it just ends. I really expected more from the show at that point
Side Effects I was thinking the same thing when I watched this stupid ass video. “You might be old” ... when the peak of MySpace vs Facebook were like a couple years apart. The rest of this is video sucks too. Fucking hell.
Kyle Newacheck who played Karl Havechek was also my teacher at Los Angeles Film School right off Sunset blvd. Basically how they had it set up...everyone was forced to take 1 of every type of film class so they have some experience and he taught one of the first editing classes that everyone was forced to take and a few other classes. I think he got fired for banging a student, good dude though from what I remember (this was 2007).
yes! sad to see those tight tight butt holes leave the show, also Adam graduated from Millard South were I went, go patriot's lol i think he even said that in an episode, Patriots are their football team
Amazing show!! Just started watching from Season 7 the Season and episodes backwards.. It really doesnt matter. You can start at any episode or season.. Keep up the great madness fellas
It actually does matter. There are a bunch of call backs and references to the past episodes. Its definitely a linear show and not just standalone episodes.
I absolutely loved Workaholics but I'm not sad it's over. They are going to do even bigger and better things together and apart so I'm looking forward to that
Nice! I expected the end to be about coke addiction and sexual harassment accusations. Glad to see these guys have a successful run. Watched the show since the day episode one aired.
Uh, can someone explain to me how Always Sunny or Workaholics are rip offs of Seinfeld? All three shows are quite different but the big difference between Workaholics and Always Sunny is that they both get away with wayyyy more raunchy comedy. That's why I love em so much.
they are shows about nothing (no plot until a character creates the plot per episode).. seinfeld was the first to do it, it was even a joke in seinfeld that they wanted to create a show about nothing, everyday life of these selected individuals and the problems they go through. seinfeld, sunny and workaholics all share the same thing.. you have no idea whats gonna happen per episode
Yeah exactly, it's harder for younger people to see it because now lots of shows are like that but Seinfeld's theme was totally new at the time and even now most shows still have some semblance of a plot that you can try to predict.
I think it has something to do with the archetypes of each character and how they play off each other: Seinfeld/Dennis/Derz: The "smart" one. Usually acts as a foil for the other characters' ridiculousness, much in the same way that a real person would if they were injected into the story (Dennis definitely pivoted later on, though, to look just as crazy). Elaine/Mac/Adam: The sidekick. Their roles will change any given episode based on the plot. Kramer/Charlie/Blake: The lovable idiot who exists mostly as comedic relief. Once in a blue moon has a good idea which warrants its own episode. Mostly acts as the "wildcard." I probably haven't seen enough episodes of Workaholics to really say for sure, though. I know that if the Workaholics guys claim they "ripped off" Always Sunny, they probably ripped off Always Sunny. And I doubt the guys from Always Sunny NEVER lifted anything from one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. It's safe to say pretty much everybody is copying everybody else.
frozenstein omg, Seinfeld isn’t a show about nothing, it’s about selfish people that learn nothing from their mistakes. They’re terrible, self-centred individuals, sunny in philly just takes it to the extreme. Just google it. Seinfeld is not a show about nothing.
Watching Blake stall and cry when being forced to take off his pants in Dorm Daze has to be the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen. 🤣 "Come onn, you're not takin' a shit, you're taking your pants off!"
jopaprez its a spiritual successor like guardians if the galaxy to firefly it doesn't mean its a bad thing or is it an insult most people are complimenting it when they compare the two
I think what people are referring to when they say it's a rip off is the general premise of the show. It follows around a group of people just living their lives doing what they do everyday. Now Sunny is very different in the fact that the characters are a lot different and do different things than the characters in Seinfeld, but the show is based off of the same premise.
I swear mail order comedy was older than 2006, I remember an old friend showed me some of their videos, and instantly found them hilarious. I remember they even had a few skits of being in an office, but I think they removed them when they started workaholics.
Loved workaholics...so sad to see them go, but happy for the guys that they're involved in other things. It was truly an awesome show and I was always trying to put other ppl on to it
Omg! Having Eric as one of the actors is so cool, I have always loved workaholics and arrested development… also one of my favorite roles of Adam Devine is his “manny” character in modern family lol
Haha I didn't realise who the guy from arrested Development was . Its cool that he didn't just want to write he wanted to be in it and even relayed the favor to them.
My girlfriend and I have watched every episode at least a hundred times, over the years. It’s such a good show, that I still laugh at it. I find myself quoting them a little too much.
Season: 2 Episode : 8. Time to start watching: 7:10 . He says he is giving him a “Four loco” but fourlocos are not 99¢ for one, two the art work on the can is actually a green tea Arizona can. If you look close you can see the logo as well

That's pretty good.

Ryan Williams HOW COULD YOU HATE BLAKE he was my favorite throughout the entire show😂😂
haha it was the humping of the leg scene which put me off him but Ive watched it 3 times in a row,so I have warmed to him,Derrs is the best I think
I'm crying now thinking about it
When Adam almost died hangin' from a tree! LoL
So many people here hate seasons 4-7. I enjoy the whole series, personally.
@Tanguo absolutely.. but the last episode was FORSURE a big let dow

Somewhat inaccurate also
Workaholics is one of my fav shows ever. Really unique and I can't think of any show that is similar. Never fails to make me laugh!
Just bought the complete series of Workaholics. My best purchase of 2017 so far.
