Fast forward five years later, and I’ve watched each season at least five times, and now consider it one of my favorite shows of all time. I’m so glad my friend showed me this show. Nonstop laughs. I've met John Dunsworth and Patrick Roach (Lahey and Randy) on a comedy tour they did going through small local pubs across Canada. Very cool people. John doesn't actually drink alcohol at all, apparently he used to be an alcoholic. Really shines a light on how amazing his acting is.
Dloweification I saw the same tour in Calgary mid 2000's sometime. Their manager also worked with The Polyesters, who were touring with them. My kid sister was their book keeper. Had a beer with Pat, and John had a pop. Sat and chatted for an hour or so. Nice guys.
Imagine having prop glasses for the show giving you a major headaches, just for your eyes to adjust and have to wear them all your life now. That’s dedication to the character and the fans.
I wondered that in the episode where it was flashback as kids and sabotaging Officer Layhe on Halloween the poloroid pic of the teenage versions of you guys, was that really you guys in the pic?

With the unfortunate timing of John Dunsworth passing, I think season 12 will be their last. It just won't be the same without Jim Lahey there. Hoping Mike Clattenburg directs the last episode as a tribute to him and put the show to a proper rest. All good things come to an end. But the memories and recordings will remain.
Because Season 12 kinda ended on a cliffhanger, I feel like they should do a special which concludes with the boys *FINALLY* retiring and having officially achieved Freedom 35. That should be the last work for Trailer Park Boys, especially since John Dunsworth won't be in the show anymore for obvious reasons.
I live in Nova Scotia and I've been to some of the filming locations where they've had their trailer park sets before. I've seen rob wells(Ricky) at our local rink before for his daughters skating lessons. His Porsche was in the parking lot. I've also come across rob at one of the provincial park campgrounds here camping with his family. Some of my friends have bumped into him and Ray at the grocery stores before.
Been watching these guys since the beginning. Theirs nothing bad you can really say about them. The show is an original. Nothing can ever come close to it. Pure entertainment plain and simple.

I feel bad for the actors of Cory and Trevor, they didn’t deserve that treatment and I would like to learn more. It’s very sad and I think they deserve some justice or at the very least a deep apology. They deserved better.
Sadly, that seems to be the environment on a lot of these popular shows, there's a clique for the main actors/friends of main actors who are given more pay/respect and the secondary actors/guest stars are treated like nothing more than glorified extras. It's that high school mentality persisting into adulthood.
They shot the first season in a trailer park right down the road from me. They rented my cousins trailer for Lucy's trailer. A lot of my friends lived in that park. Woodbine Trailer Park in Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Randy Crawford I'm one of their camera operators and I always made sure they had good dope to smoke after shooting. I know them very well we party all the time.
TPB suffered multiple core material blows when they lost “The Liquor” Jim Lahey (John Dunsworth) as well as Canada legalizing Marijuana. Gotta give them credit for trying to keep it alive with the Cartoon season and now the jail show but the ghost is gone. “The Liquor has left the building!”
Man, being a Canadian watching this show as it came out originally, I couldn't believe this show didn't achieve the recognition it deserved. Now I can't believe how popular it's gotten. This show was like Canada's best kept secret for 7 seasons.

tbf, I've given this show many shots, from pilot to random episodes in many seasons, tried to like it, but simply couldn't. I guess the show isn't for everyone. I know people who like it though.

The later seasons will never be able to repeat the magic of the first 7 seasons but I'm still incredibly thankful to the cast. They have tried new things and it hasn't always worked and that's okay, all good things must come to an end. The way she goes, boys.

Because Season 12 kinda ended on a cliffhanger, I feel like they should do a special which concludes with the boys *FINALLY* retiring and having officially achieved Freedom 35. I live in Nova Scotia and I've been to some of the filming locations where they've had their trailer park sets before. I've seen rob wells(Ricky) at our local rink before for his daughters skating lessons. His Porsche was in the parking lot. I've also come across rob at one of the provincial park campgrounds here camping with his family. Some of my friends have bumped into him and Ray at the grocery stores before.
Met Jroc in two if by sea in downtown dartmouth and Julien at mic mac tavern and go to school with Randy’s son.

I feel bad for the actors of Cory and Trevor, they didn’t deserve that treatment and I would like to learn more. It’s very sad and I think they deserve some justice or at the very least a deep apology. They deserved better.
Sadly, that seems to be the environment on a lot of these popular shows, there's a clique for the main actors/friends of main actors who are given more pay/respect and the secondary actors/guest stars are treated like nothing more than glorified extras. It's that high school mentality persisting into adulthood.
I feel sad for them too, but it’s still impressive that no one broke character.
They shot the first season in a trailer park right down the road from me. They rented my cousins trailer for Lucy's trailer. A lot of my friends lived in that park. Woodbine Trailer Park in Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Man, being a Canadian watching this show as it came out originally, I couldn't believe this show didn't achieve the recognition it deserved. Now I can't believe how popular it's gotten. This show was like Canada's best kept secret for 7 seasons.

Now days I can notice the boys acting. Back in the old days, they were so good, it truly felt that everything in the show was 100% real and there was just a camera guy recording everything.
