I put my key (just the house key since i dont have vehicles) in my wallet when i go out and wear shorts and dont wanna carry a bag. Cant just put a single key in my pocket now right? That'll just fall when you sit down

It is so hard to find a good wallet because we have a wallet we have and we know what we know and we stick with our crappy wallet for years until we get gifted an even crappier one at Christmas. This crappy Christmas wallet ALWAYS ends up inspiring us to replace our existing wallet with a new, better wallet… which we still end up hating.
If you hate the wallet you're carrying...you need to get a new one! A lot of soul searching can help you find the right one. For me, it's the Houbei 2.0 by Open Sea Leather. Like OP's wallet, it's slim, durable and packs a lot in a small package, while also using a tuck closure for added security and elegance. They have a ton of different wallets and I'm sure they're all just as awesome!
I can related to the sitting on the wallet thing, I realized I instinctively take wallet out and put it on the table whenever I seat for more than 5 minutes unless it's in some crowded public transit with no where to put
Thin finn is my favorite. I have a couple of them. I actually have a stock & barrel #68 wallet I got more than a year ago for xmas and only carried like a day or 2. I just conditioned it and will use it for a bit now. Lost dutchman is definitely awesome though. Same with popov leather

I think you should look at the trove wallets made in England it’s the size of the ridge wallet but has full cash and coin compatibility. I am torn between these wallets, my trove, and my open sea leather wallet. I think all three are my favorite lol.
Never had any leaks. The Top of the pen rubbs of against the lid over time, but its just a bit of discoloration on the inside. Nothing I am concerned about.

Tony Perotti makes some good ones, they feel and look very premium. Had one wallet for almost 10 years it got so beautiful the older it got. Just bought a new one because i wanted a smaller one, they are high quality and priced fairly.
No way that this wallet is 2 and a half times better than a US handmade Open sea Leather wallet. With that price the company clearly likes their wallets much more than me.
Really like it but the space for bank notes seems quite limited and I am not such a fan of folding every note before storing it away. Otherwise super, especially the nice leather and the total lack of zippers and buttons. So elegant.

I got 3 wallets, a fold wallet, a pouch wallet & a simple card holder. I use the pouch wallet the most, because it can store up to 12 cards, a lot of paper bills & coins.
I got the ETSY version of this for US$41 including international shipping. It's nice but I think that the Willow Craft Goods Swaddle wallet with its 3 different sizes and the ability to change the configuration yourself is the best leather wallet in existence.
After mine broke in it was just like the owner shows how it just come out. No problem just the best Wallet made from top quality leathers. If it wasn't the best it wouldn't have so many competitors trying duplicate it.
I just replaced this wallet with a wallet I got for Christmas because (I had the button closure type) the button was ripping holes in my jeans. Edit: this is a different model from them. Disregard

As I use no cash, or coins whatsoever, I have yet to find any leather wallet that can hold my six essential cards in a package smaller than my Bellroy. The workanship and quality in your wallet is amazing. I do love the key slot. I guess my dream wallet would be my Bellroy made with shell cordovan and hand stitched.

The thickness alone shows it won’t last a 10 years without tear unless if you are not using everyday or if it’s at your front pocket. The patina as well is not as great as horween of ashland

Love the Secrid wallet and I still keep mine around. Looks fantastic and is just fun to use. Sadly though, its just hard to live without a coin pocket here in germany. Plus having a handmade wallet form Singapore is just kinda cool.

Its the 8cm version you can count the thread holes on the bottom, they are different for small and standard.

Mine got wet many times due to rain, sweat and so on. No issues. It just takes on a stronger patina.

Try the Open Sea Leather Gun Deck wallet. Super beautiful, compact, and wonderful to use daily.
Check out some smaller makers! You can always commission someone to make a design very similar to the wallet you carry.

It looks to big, prefer the Secrid Mini wallet, card management is super easy with Secrid wallets.
