Brilliant thankyou, from english Pensioner, working on 60's generation music, and being blessed by being shown how to play, by all you talented musicians, thankyou
I've seen a lot of tutorials on youtube but yours is by FAR the absolute best. Hands down. Thanks so much! And your guitar sounds so very good. Excellent video in every way.
AWESOME Lesson. Bein wanting to learn the "RIGHT" way to play this song since the 70's and you hit it right on the note.. Great job your doing here showing and teaching everyone your guitar playing.. Thanks from SWRNC--DALLAS TEXAS!
This is a great tutorial, thank you! Very easy to follow, to the point and all about the song rather than the tutor (a rarity, I find, on youtube tutorials!). I saw Neil Young (for the first time) with Crazy Horse the other night in Birmingham and he blew me away! I was also waiting to see if you'd put the bend in on the intro, as I've heard Neil do on the Live at Massey Hall recording, and you did! Thanks again man and keep it up!
Hey man, gotta tell you, you make the best guitar tutorials I've found on youtube. You show us everything we need to make it sound like the original without going crazy to show us exactly how it's played, and you don't dumb it down to a super simple version. My repertoire has doubled since I've found your channel. Although I'm not a huge Oasis fan, so I guess I'm missing out on 90% of your lessons.
Thanks, Some of the other tutorials I couldn't see or they sounded poor. You sound great and move along well. Some of the others waste too much time trying to tell you what string number and fret instead of showing you. I had a great time with my J200 Gibson today. First time I played it in a couple years.
Haters Gonna Hate. On behalf of the other 247 people with a "thumbs up" I thank you, and ask you disregard the critics please. I'm just learning and you managed to break down the song quickly, which enabled me to get some of the song down and gave me the feeling that I was actually moving forward a bit. I've never seen Uncle Neil use a capo on the song as was suggested by another? At a basic level using the capo on Neil would just be wrong.
Good tutorial, love how you go from British accent to sounding like Neil! Add a bit more nasal and I think you got it! An Oasis fan? I saw Neil Young & Crazy Horse headlining with Oasis playing just before him at outdoor Molson Park, Ontario Canada. Lots of Oasis fans there and concert was awesome!
great job man!! love this song an I have to be honest I was pleasantly surprised how well you sang it!! it never seems to amaze me how British people are able to sing with a voice that sounds nothing like there speaking voice lol idk just my opinion I love it!! thanx
Thank you. your attention to detail is amazing. You have given us much more than can be expected. I am sure that if one were to play according to your lesson at a party or a gathering of friends, it would in no way sound amateurish.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for making this! Not worried at all that it isn't note for note perfect. Good enough is good enough when playing Neil Young.
Parabéns excelente sua explicação sobre essa obra de Neil Young aparentemente simples, a realidade esses pequenos detalhes que fazem diferença e traz emoção e sentimento a essa música 🤘🎸 obrigado viva Neil Young ❤️🎸
cheers, always enjoy your quick & easy tutorials. On this tune though I'd stick the capo up on 5th fret as if you're 'non' singer it's really high for most male voices. Or sing in a lower octave in A if you can.
Great job teaching, I have played the chords to horse with no name by America and could not figure out why it didn't sound the same I know they are using (Neal picking) ! Sounds Great!
you're fantastic man! Love your tutorials, mainly neil young's, oasis and the beatles. Keep up the wonderful work you're doing! Would you please be kind enough to put on a tutorial for neil young's natural beauty, if it isn't to much for you? Greatings from Portugal!
fantastic! u show some of the intricacies though for beginners u prob go too fast in end of chorus but perfect for me since ive been playin this for awhile - & still learned a lot. hey can u play or know ambulance blues - not suggestin a lesson just wondering. i wld however love an intro lesson on solo work for cowgirl. in any case mil gracias for sharing!

Your vocals are perfect for Neil's songs..

The muted downstroke with the palm technique is breathtaking...gave me chills -- just like the song itself does
