- This is the result of drinking coffee and surfing FB Marketplace. I tried really hard not to buy it, but nothing would drive it away.
With some inspiration from others I bought this sight unseen. It was advertised as 'not running' and told that ground squirrels had eaten up the wiring. For the price is was a challenge I wanted to take on. After looking it over, I'm not sure if it is as bad as the outside looks.

Sweet project, I would love to get the ford Ranchero.
P.s. I'd wash my hands after touching that seat. 😂
hey PH! Nice project. Helpful Tip: On my enclosed trailers, I painted "guide" lines on the ramp door to help line the car up for loading. Made them about equal to common vehicle track width. Makes it easy to have the car in the right place for going in straight. And I have a 60-40 maroon g-body bench seat if you need it.
Thats a great idea on the trailer, good tip.
I just saw this Dave. I'll do that and put it in a video.
You seem to have an issue with these 80's car/truck chevys, lol.
If you are looking for rust free ones I live in New Mexico now, willing to look around if you want.
Sleepy would be the name I'd give her..
Just curious about your cnc plasma build. I followed your 3 phase rotary build and now have 3 phase in my shop. I'm to the z axis and playing around was just curious to see what you had finished.
I have made a few things but nothing beyond what I would call trial cuts. I completely built the z axis from scratch. The cheap one I got from flea bay was just that. cheap. I haven't finished the water tank yet and the limit switches aren't completed. I switched to inductive sensors and need a circuit for them. Limits are important on this kind of gantry so it will re-square it self whenever I want. I haven't played with it in ages to have more. Wish I did. I have a lot of hobbies as you channel shows. Thanks for asking. ~P
No worries. I just found your videos probably some of the best explained and thought out. That 3 phase series you put out was hands down the best on UA-cam. Funny it lead me to your plasma cutter. I have the water tank setup already ( used stainless trays from commercial pizza ovens)
Sir I hope you finish all the projects your working on. Best of luck.
