Many people do not understand that those French words in the beginning of this video are words in The National Anthem of France :) I noticed because I love the anthem and this game! I'm from Finland but I like France.

Yeah I heard that lol. Slightly remembred the national anthem from when the Paris attack happened the other year, we all sung it before the football game with France. From England btw

Personally, the experience of this game as a whole, from the trailers to the actual gameplay, has been the greatest of any game in the genre. You can talk about the realism and freedom of games like ARMA(not to take away from it), but something about BF1 just beats everything else for me. Felt very immersive imo and I absolutely loved the grittiness. Shame so many people behind what is the pinnacle of the Battlefield franchise were foolishly fired.
Julian Martinez I love WW1 history in general and this game got me even more interested in the war. It really did immerse you in it and it had almost a dark feel at times to how the soldiers in the war would have almost experienced it.
Definitely true, immersive doesn't always mean realistic. It's all about the mood and the feeling of playing the game and tbh I think that the operations gamemode is the peak of battlefield

These trailers are bittersweet, we get to experience the closest thing to the great war but at the same time im sad that we are enjoying the experience that took the lives of so many men, woman and many others who were affected, people who could've lived a long life of happiness but was taken away because some people wanted some land.
At the end of the day games are entertainment. This game in particular is portraying a real event that happened not too long ago. It’s fine to enjoy the game, no one is dying for real this time, but it is equally important to understand the price that was paid in the war and to respect it.

Now I love the trailers for Bf1, but Apocalypse was by far my favorite. It finally gave the game that horror feeling that I personally felt it deserved. Amazing

I was looking for a compilation of the trailers, finally found one worth watching
All of these trailers are so amazing, the turning tide sone looked like a movie. You can feel all of them and see how brutal the war is, especially the last dlc. This just makes me feel sad about how bf5 flopped with everything. Even the trailers looked bad. But we can still look back at the amazing bf1 : )

Something just sets the apocalypse trailer from everything else, just a mix of desolation, grittiness, and hopelessness that accompany the amazing visuals and awesome dialogue make it so much better then your average video game trailers, its just so GOOD

Being able to speak in their languages was beautiful. One of a kind experience.
Imagine the war is over in 1918 but yet you have to survive a invisible enemy like the spanish flu. Nothing can compare the struggle they endure back then.
Interesting in the Apocalypse trailer, there was a shot of the end of the Somme map where the ruined buildings are but there was a wall of fire behind it and with crazy light, just like later in Verdun Heights when the "weather effect" is essential fire everywhere. I guess they didn't use this in the final version of that map, which is a shame as it looks great in this trailer.
I get so much Nostalgia watching this. I remember Grinding the Mode where every faction has their supoosed weapon like the germans the Kar 98. This alongside the Sound effects etc made this game my Favorite MP of all time and i still Regulary play it

Seeing as how the Apocalypse DLC was about “ending the apocalypse” I think it would’ve been fitting if they added one or two more American battles. But hey, it was a great DLC and a great game regardless, and I’m just glad they added my country at all.
i think that although they said that, the point of apocalypse was to show of the worst, bloodiest battles in the war. And they had already added the Argonne, so Caporetto Paschendale and the Somme were the right choices.

RolanPlays I got BF1 first and was disappointed by how stupid it was. There was nothing about it that made it feel like World War I and same can be said about BF1 guns how only a select few are good. Lastly graphics don’t matter gameplay does.

How is it that the Australians got their own dlc, even tho they failed to take their objective, but the Canadians, who were some of the most feared combatants of ww1 due to their ‘take no prisoners’ policy, not even get a spot on the British army as the support at least.
