As long, as there are no mods like this for Bannerlord , I like to go back to Warband . It got everything, Roman Era, a lot of Greek/Hoplite mods, Dark Age, Viking Era, Medieval Age, Gun Powder Age up to first world war. What I think I haven't seen yet is a mod based around ancient Egypt or Sumeria. Imagine a mod, where you choose a Tribe like Hunter Gatherer, Farmer and so on. Or Bronze Age. That would be interesting as well.
There is a bronze age one that has loads of unique assets. Only problem is they don't really have a good scripter so the game is too buggy to even finish.
Very good ranking in my opinion, you basically got all the mods I knew for these periods as well as a couple more. The only mod I would suggest is "Honour & Glory" which is basically set around the same timeline as wfas (actually a bit earlier if I remember correctly) and also in eastern Europe just with more factions and some very nice features and ideas. Still, great video and hope you are succesful in making youtube your job!

Another mod that I recommend is Deeds of Arms and Chivalry. It is an another mod set in the hundred years war and has a very large map of France similar to Hispania 1200 and has got amazing castles and scenery. I have tried many Warband mods but this mod has had the best scenery I had ever seen. It is still active btw.
You will like the next version even more! Many new scenes (like 30) are ready since long long time... Mont Saint Michel, Paris, Angers, Dijon and many many more! The last version from 3,5 years ago was stable but far from finish, i'm still surprise so many people enjoy it. Some of scenes for towns were shared by the mod team of "Rus 13th century Way of the Warrior", big thanks to them; a really awesome mod that should be in this list.
I am trying for world dominance in 16th century mod, and you are absolutely correct, it doesen't add many mechanics but due to the size of the world it's more of a content mod with a lot of scenery and armor. Other than that there is quite a few fun things in it.

The core feature of the mod is that it adds a strategic pass systems which blocks both AI and Player movement through historically significant passes and fortresses.

You're technically right, but the Dark Ages is a term for European History. The circumstances in the middle east were different as the two empires, namely the Eastern Romans and the Persians were still around, preserving most of the existing technologies and institutions. Sometimes, historical accuracy does not matter. Take 1257 ad, for example, or worse, its submods. Its rather shallow as far as dev research goes. Its also a decade old, so new progress has been made in military history. At this moment, its quite inaccurate in terms of armour, for example. Is the mod itself bad because of that? Great list, wondering which do you consider the hardest mod? I’d like one where you don’t feel like a super sayan in tournaments, I remember Brytenwalda was like that but haven’t played ir in probably 10 years.
Perisno and Prophecy of Pendor both have slower, tougher starts and progressions like Brytenwalda. Viking Conquest dlc is also similar, but the former are two quite different fantasy mods and VC is quite similar to Brytenwalda. There's also a Roman era submod to Brytenwalda too, which is pretty hard because although you can choose to start with custom elite Roman units theres a very limited Roman recruitment area, but the Celtic tribes are divided and very different styles of soldiers to the heavily armoured Romans
If it's the one I'm thinking about, you can see in his death notification that he's a "Guardia Papale", meaning he belongs to the papal state faction, can't recall the exact name. It would the faction that controls Rome at the start. Can't recall if you can visualize the troop trees in this mod, but maybe recruit some papal troops and keep upgrading them to see al the options.

Hundred years war link doesn't work can we get updated links please
Thanks bro
good video !
Where did you find the troop garrison option in 1257 ?
When you start a new game.
Rus 13th century: Way of the Warrior anybody?
Of course, the best mod about Eastern Europe!
It is a crime to forget
You know I was just thinking if someone made a recent video about this
The power of coincidence!
Does anyone have any idea what the white coloured knight at 8:45 belongs too? I'm wanting to find what faction they belong too but cannot find them.
@@TerryDuke Alright, I’ll get looking, thank you TerryDuke!
@@TerryDuke Found them! Thanks again.
Hey i believe you forgot one historical mod it’s called rome at war
Will write it down but it sounds... redundant 😄
@@TerryDukeoh you’ll like it
Are there any carribean era related mods apart from blood & gold? Which is (for some reason) is a standalone game
It's a standalone because it's a copycat game, not a dlc or related to taleworlds at all. But I'm not aware of any similar mods
@@TerryDukeoh, i didnt know it has nothing to do with taleworlds at all, i initially thought it was like "with fire and ice" collaboration of some kind. Btw, do i guess it right that there are no good mods dedicated to the xvii and xviii centures at their peaks of war clashes(30 years' war and seven years war respectively)? I think if there were any you probably would have listed them but im asking just on the off-chance if there are after alp. Im still quite new with this game and havent observed the modding scene at its fullest.
I just wish 16th century wasn't so buggy.
Ever tried snow in the east? Ww2 mod for warband
Could you help me? 16 century mod doesnt load
Historical mods are Awesome, but nothing will ever beat fantasy mods like Perisno 😎
Hello my friend, how can i contact you...? I see that you're doing good work for m&b players...
You can join my discord server, or use my email address in the about tab of my youtube channel.
I have looked for the "1429 mod" a long time, and in the beginning, I found out it was deleted by the creator. So I thought that was it. Then I find this video and a saved file to the mod. Thank you so much man, the mod looks really cool! Have you played it? Because it seems to be only in french?
Check the link, there's an english patch. And of course i played it that's how i got the gameplay footage 😉 also i'm french canadian so i didnt mind the french.
In which folder exactly do I put the english patch in? Im not so good at these things. I already have the mod installed thanks to you, but where do I put the english patch in?@@TerryDuke
are you from quebec? si oui ça fait plaisir de voir un frère
Warband Content running out, more titles mod's please
Not sure I understand
@@TerryDuke Can you start covering other game's mods, warband is getting old
@@NahBro754 oh i see. Yes, I have plans for other games. But I feel like if I dont do warband, most of my audience wont watch and i fail to reach elsewhere.
Ashame that l'aigle is dead and between empires is in unknown status.
Nice 👍
Sad that you didnt mention my favorite mod from the gunpowder era the independence of chile mod
But you at least got crusades and jihads good
I will write it down, though!
@@TerryDuke I put the mod link in your discord suggestions tab
Hey man can you try Roleplay mods thank you
@@yes-qi4sv what roleplay mods?
american civil war revived was the best for me
I was wondering if ANYONE had the discord link for L'aigle i heard the dev had a small update exclusive to tis discord and honestly im pretty desperate for about any update to this damn mod after over 6 years without one
Is there a way to change crosshair in Grand Armee/L'Aigle? I swear original crosshair is digusting and it's too hard to hit anything.
I followed this guide and installed the 16th Century mod. I decided off the bat to randomly play as a Russian, and wanted to join their army and become a gunner. I did all of that and long story short, the first thing the Russians did was invade the Ukraine.
Very historically accurate russian behaviour indeed
@@TerryDuke Cheers, I also tried out the Bellum Roman one, I like that one too but it feels very grindy if you decide to play as a barbarian.
great
Any aztec or maya mods like apocalypto?
