Brilliant idea love. I hated my first watercolour set because it was one that meant I had to mix colours. How stressful is that! X
It’s certainly a lot for a new watercolour painter to learn all at once… the danger is that overwhelm can make people think they don’t have the capability to watercolour which is such a shame because they may give up. So this set allows people to play with the wonder of watercolor as a medium… and then as a next step to learn about colour mixing with a little wind beneath the wings!

I work in a paint shop(industrial, so no fun), almost all of our brown paints have a purple undertone. If the paint separates, there is always a purple layer
That would be so interesting! Purple lives is its own universe with its own physics!

Not exactly sure what is being referenced- but all the watercolours are in the watercolour section, and palettes in another. If you look on a desktop the search function always works better. If we can help , please ask the Help Desk on janedavenport.com
