Bro im a skier but it makes me really mad cuz they would pizza cut infront of people. Once i was skiing and i was gonna take a jump and then he cuts right infront of me and when i landed i crashed. I got a hole on the top sheet of my brand new Yes Greats last year because some skier decided it was a good place to push her ski pole to get up. I nearly got stabbed by a ski pole on the lift line because some old guy who can't balance properly and had to flail around with his poles.
I just sent this to my daughter who started riding last year, I told her this is why we can’t give her friends who ski a ride to the resort with us. Skiers are fucking dangerous.

I’ve had a few with fellow snowboarders. But you can usually spot if their bad from a mile away. Unmatching ski gear, bad posture. Giant backpack on, beanie and no helmet. Or if they wear a helmet they have the strap on the outside. Oversized giant gloves. Or pants tucked into boots lol
@@PhaseSkater I'm assuming you mean goggle strap over the helmet. I keep mine over because I only wear gogs on the lift and when it's snowing, so strap over helmet makes it easier to keep it on the forehead of the helmet when I'm boarding
Simon Thompson good way to get them fogged up and other issues. And clearly you aren’t riding fast enough if you’re able to ride without goggles. Goggles keep my face warm from wind burn and the chilly cold when I’m blasting it down the mountain and it keeps the snow out of my eyes during falls in the park. Plus the uv tint is probably the most important. Have fun getting cataracts in the next few years. At least attempt to wear sunglasses. Idk how the snow reflection isn’t burning your retinas either. Only way I could see no goggles working would be riding in like North Carolina on a cloudy day on a bunny slopes

The only time I have been hit us by a skier. I have never hit anyone. I know a guy at my local hill who is always complaining about snowboarders and I told him to shut up or move to Park City and stay at Deer Valley.
When I was a kid I wanted to try skiing, when I did some lessons it did not go well, the skiing instructors were very confusing and some of them were kind of mean, doing some of the lessons made no sense. Since then I don't ever want to try skiing again, however a few days I'm taking lessons for snowboarding, I hope it goes out well

First day I ever rode I had just gotten out of a lesson and was going to do a lap with my dad we were getting of the two seater beginner chair and some fuckin idiot on skis was sitting on the unloading ramp thing and me not knowing how to skate very well ran into him and hit my head on the sheet of ice that had formed and me getting my first concussion
