My family had a cabin just outside of Nakusp for almost 80 years (until they sold the property several years ago - damn them.), so I just love love love that area. Next time you head through that wee town, stop for burgers at the Hut. I now live in Castlegar and I am LOVING your videos of amazing places around B.C. I love learning new things about my province!
Just did this circuit from Victoria 2 weeks ago! Salmon arm then koots. Used to go to halfway river springs in the late 90's all the time when I lived there. Used to just be a cedar tub. Nice upgrades the locals have done! Stoked for these vids, can't wait for the next!
I grew up in the East Kootenays and yeah, the hot springs are amazing to visit. There's a bunch of hidden gems in the area to choose from and most are never that busy probably because of the roads to get to them. In high school my pals and I would do Whiteswan a lot (fucking terrifying to get to in the winter but worth it). Living in the Lower Mainland now and it's a huge hassle to get out to the few accessible lakes and hot springs because of traffic and crowding so I definitely miss living in the Kootenays during the summer. Great video!
This is a coicidence, I'm camping at Halfway to check out those hot springs for the first time next week on my way from Vancouver to Banff! Also, cool to see the Three Valley Lake Chateau . . . I've driven by so many times but never knew what that quaint red building was.
Man, a couple years back halfway hot springs were amazing and super chill and rustic .. now the government gone in an “cleaned it up” put in a huge road and knocked down a bunch of trees and it cost $ now. Not ideal
i cant believe u did that on road tires haha great stuff thanks for the videos man i never know when i might get my license but i always want to explore BC and you are proving that it is worth doing
If you are continuing down hwy 6, make sure to stop by the museum in New Denver. Its built into a 100 year old Bank of Montreal building. The inside is crazy
You should get your self a Honda ct 70 or something like that, little scoot for up the trails. Love that area..heading up there next week. Keep making cool videos.
Me and partner visited that "ghost town" on our trip to Kelowna last year and I saw the biggest slug I've ever witnessed in my life! It's a neat little place!
I really do love your videos! Im from prince george and i could instantly recognize those highways turns anywhere. Keep doing the great work but if you dont mind my saying your starting to look a little too slick for a adventurer.
11 clicks up the road from the hwy, then an ok hike down a goat trail to the river if the cliff is dry. You'll need hiking boots, gloves, a ski pole, food, water purification pills, toilet paper, and a flash light on a helmet. Biggest mistake is staying too long, and having to climb up a wet slippery goat trail in the dark wondering if you're ever going to make it out alive. Mosquito season can take the fun out of it, as it can be dark and shady, with lots of condensation. Not sure about cell service, but I doubt it. It's the 2nd best hot springs in the area, as good as the best in Idaho.
Why is it all these places you go are a big secret. How about letting us know where you go. Love your videos, binging on all them but had having to google guess where you go in our beautiful province.
Admit it, the reason you didn't film around other people is probably because half of them were naked. Is that not the traditional way to enjoy these remote hot springs? 😂
Glad ya like my van boss
Hahahahaha. Super stoked you saw this. Thanks for the smokies and the good conversation before I had to bike back.
Loving your videos! Alberta girl here and I absolutely love the Kootenays!

I love watching your videos Dustin! Your adventures this summer look awesome! BC is so beautiful.
Those ferries are really similar what we have here in Finland. Most of are working with electricity now :) Charger is on dock

Definitely go to the springs on a week day if possible. Pretty busy spot

Love your videos, I live in the Manitoba prairies so I love tagging along on your videos.
I’ve only stopped in Manitoba once. It’s a drive through province for sure. 🥱
RV, RIVER, DRONE! EPIC!
Oh my God I wish I was a man who could travel like this safely
I love this intro!
Hilarious that you left it dark in the end - good work, very creative.
did that trip a couple weeks ago...had to boogie back to the island, my ol' dog was really sick...missed the hot springs

Dustin amazing place, I want to get into that hot water too !!! 😲😜👍
That looks like an amazing place

Love that spot. Not far up road is Sandon ghost town. Worth the stop

I want a scooter big time.
Electric bike, no need for extra fuel.
Talking to his motor home on the phone that made me giggle 😅
Nice. Cheers 🍻😎
we've stayed at the hotel at 3 valley gap. It was fun

Banana?
@@CANControlGRAFFITI no idea, it was just large and incharge lol
Oddly enough. At Halcyon hot springs just down the road from there I had a Sasquatch encounter in 93. (I didn't have any spray).
Maybe invest in a second bike for rough and dirt when you can. Getting a flat on that street bike 9km from the RV would suck.
I really do love your videos! Im from prince george and i could instantly recognize those highways turns anywhere. Keep doing the great work but if you dont mind my saying your starting to look a little too slick for a adventurer.
You need an e bike . Awesome video
More than anything hahaha
Hello, could you please confirm the name of hot springs and directions. Thank you so much.
Dustin,, where can I get one of those sasquatch spray stickers?
I actually got it custom made just for that shot.
I'm in Kelowna and need to know where these springs are
I've heard there's a secret hot spring past Christy Falls about a 2hr hike
Between the galena bay ferry and Nakusp. Logging road at st leon takes you up there. It's in back road map books.
That van is the definition of shaggin wagon or hippies lol open the door to a cloud lmfao
Such a sick van. The owner was super dope as well.
@@Destination_Adventure nice atleast they weren't struck up lol
Where is this?
Hmm I was born in salmon arm and my sister brother and aunt & uncle live in celista and Enderby.

How do I get in touch with this content creator?
Reellyfe@outlook.com I’m in and out of service a lot right now but I’ll get back asap
Hello please get a used MT bike. City bikes not good in Bigfoot county🤔cjd😷😁
Hahaha. I purposely left my mountain bike at home this trip thinking I wouldn’t need it. Would have come in handy for sure.
Why do you need to add music to your vids?
If you do not like Farm Equipment on the road Don't eat . And that goes for any one else be kind to the Great farmers world wide 🤔😷 cjd

Especially in the kootenays hahhaa
