Thank you for this video. I believe it quite literally saved my life, not my relationship, but myself. It explains the feelings I'm going through and my irrational behavior.

@@jeanettejavier5252 that's massive. As part of this story I interested in husbands and adult children getting involved as well. The reason is if they do not understand menopause behaviors are received as pure madness. Thus will damage relationships and make things harder on the woman with menopause.
In this day and age it’s absolutely beyond ridiculous to me that the subject of menopause still has a shameful hidden stigma attached to it. As mature aged women WE NEED TO DO BETTER!! It’s not up to anyone else BUT us!! Stop being ashamed and speak up, you have a voice use it to educate as many ppl as you can!!
All these women are spot on with their description of how it is. Funny it's on an NHS channel as they do nothing to help women with the menopause and have no knowledge or training in it.
My periods stopped in my 30s. I told my doctor a medicine I was taking was stopping my periods. He said " you don't like having them anyway. Anyway I'm now 65. My periods never stated back. I have never had a hot flash nor have I experienced any other symptom except no periods.
I will be 50 in June and I'm getting hot flashes, I have irregular periods, I think I had my last cycle two months ago. I'm reading comments and I did not think menopause was a big thing, because I have never heard women complain about it. I guess it's time to see my gynecologist to do blood work.. Thank you for sharing ✌️ Edit I've had panic attacks since 2012 so I don't think I can get worse.
Menopause is like you have autoimmune disease, no cure for it , but with right food , you suffer less. I don’t eat dairy , egg , gluten, I feel better. Also I cook vegetables , nothing raw , no seeds . You should find out what foods are triggering your symptoms , I just started cold shower , for a minute, and it’s helping me , ask your doctor first ❤
Menopause should be part of the discussion with Strong and Independent women who will be alone at this stage of life. When emotional instability and loneliness will explode.

This is very scary when so many things are happening to our bodies all at once....how do we know exactly what the problem is?

What about involving men and the adult children in this discussion who have to go through the wife's behavior changes and emotional instability?
I'm having a great experience with menopause, but because I have taken care of myself and am very healthy it's not a bad experience.

Oh another thing does menopause put weight on women? I gained a lot of weight within 2 years.
I've never been this heavy.
