Ok, one more thing. Brian thank you for letting your guest tell his tale. How many UA-cam channels who have a guest, interrupt, have to be the focal point, and ruin the interview. You stepped out of the way. That’s the way to do it. Well done.
This is true wisdom. This information can change your life. Thank you Patrick. And to you Brian, I am now a subscriber, keep it up, great stuff, This matters.

I have the book, interesting! I wonder though, what to do when you become anxious, sad or angry for example? Because our emotions are still a part of life right? They will not completely disappear except for joy and calmth? So what do you do: calm yourself down through breathing, but suppress an emotion (which gives tension I feel) or express the emotion, feel relief, but screw up your breathing?

The trick is to bring your mind bk to the breath coming in and going out the work is the battle between your ego mind wanting to think and not be silenced and the slilent mind that is our natural state thats the work.
Wim Hof has a completely skewed perspective on breath. He thinks that taking big breaths saturates the cells with oxygen. The opposite is true. He is also an avid chest breather, which promotes stress. Actually his whole breathing method is triggering a stress reaction in the body. In the short term and in extreme conditions it might be useful (fight or flight syndrome, adrenaline, cortisol going around), but it's very unhealthy long term. And even for short term it's probably not optimal. Advanced Buteyko breathers can withstand extreme temperatures too.
Patrick has a nice calm voice and a real gentle earnestness in the message he presents.

You should do something with wim Hof please!
Yes ignore him.
Religion and politics is “repetitive thoughts”. To heal the mind requires dropping all forms of repetitive thinking.
Interesting, eh!? 🤔
Thanks for sharing Andrew!

Easier said than done though. I am trying. Thoughts just come back.
Me too. It’s so hard.

How do I focus on my breath and same time do a task. Impossible for me.
Your focus needs more focus. Like muscle and strength: Focus is grown - absolutely not a given to anyone.
You have to work hard for it and grow it.
Very Interesting but what about the Wim Hof method then. He uses deep breaths to optimize his performance.
Paolo Ravera wim hoff method is just for a few minutes a day. Buteyko is 24/7

Wim hof is a waste of time and snake oil salesman.
Hi brian Can you do the book Report to greco
This is very very similar to the Spice Girls but without the Mellotron and the foxes head and the lawnmower and ting.
Is that a good thing?
