Wes Borland is the only reason I love Limp Bizkit and can enjoy their music.

It's really cool, too, because a lot of the bands, I honestly haven't heard of either at all or very much... but the ones in the first group, I start to think, Okay, I like that, that, and that-- maybe I'll give these guys a try; and for the other ones, it's like, Damn, I've only heard two or three songs by those guys but this is SO FREAKING ACCURATE!!

Chocolate starfish and hot dog flavored water is one of a select few albums I can listen from start to finish. I absolutely loved that album growing up and still love til this day! Take em to the Matthew’s bridge

I had a little phase where I was a fan of their than grew out of it after a couple years. But I will always say that Wes is good and does always come up with interesting stuff even more so for the genre. Was odd to see him when he was in from first to last due to the different styles of the bands but also because the venue the show was at is a super small venue for someone who was as famous as he was in 2005.

Yup, Limp Bizkit was definetly huge back in the days. Right after korn, they were this band, who inspired many others, and they were seen all over television. Internet wasn´t really a thing back then.
I liked their music, groovy and heavy riffs, and agressive live shows. Todays shows will never get close to what they delivered in the late 90s. (ok, they´re older and way more chilled now)
Fred doesn´t really wear the red cap nowadays, but the fans still does. I don´t know why, it became a trademark to them.
Enjoyed this lol. Yeah most of their guitar tunings are based on c# standard. There’s a few drop b songs. The main 7 string tuning for their early stuff was low to high c#,f#,b,e,g#,c#,c#. So the two highest pitch strings were the same pitch and he played the 7 more like a 6 string. This is something Steph from the deftones also does to play early 6 string material on 7 strings now. Nookie is almost the same tuning except the low c# is replaced with low f# (think 8 string low f#) so the two lowest pitch strings are an octave apart (thinking architects? I did)
