I was able to make these earrings right along with you. You are certainly the clearest, best instructor, and I think I've tried them all, or nearly. I only found 15mm circles on the etsy store, so I'll wait a few days and check back. Thank you for projects of exactly the right difficulty. They teach and stretch my skills, and yet I can complete them.
Because I couldn't find the 15mm closed rings either in the stores or on offthebeadedpath, I made my own ring. It is larger than Kelly's ring (in the video) so I used more beads. The project then became a wonderful exercise for a (-little-bit-more-than-) beginning beader, but too large for earrings. All the same, I'd recommend trying it, for people at my stage of learning. Kelly comes up with good projects for beginners who are travelling toward intermediate.
Hai Kelly , Thank U 4 the " winged ear rings " & easy to do tutorials........I I watch Ur Must Know Monday Tutorials , a real gift for beginners like me......II am from S . India , Stay Blessed As Always & Thnx once again
hi kelli I do hope u enjoyed the holidays I have being trying a few of ur projects and I sure enjoyed them. thanks for the new one which seem simple. I will be trying this one
Always love watching your tutorials. I'm not an earring wearer but thought I might apply your fab techniques to a wire choker - thanks for sharing your wonderful creations with us :-)
love your videos and your Christian humor. I also love the necklace and the earrings. U make it sooo easy to learn Wish u would teach some about designing with graph paper or however u do it. U use a lot of things that other people don't like the rings and things.
I figured the "why" of the black on your and other beaders fingers; however, your nails are always nice and trimmed and clean. I've seen other beaders with dirty nails and chipped nail polish. Then there is a lady I've seen with nail fungus under her manicured acrylic nails, that by the way needed to be filled. I don't need to go online and criticize, because I think they're aware of the situation, and if they decide to make a video that way, they feel comfortable! You don't have to worry about your fingers getting any black on them. Thanks for teaching us new things. Happy New Year!
Hi Kelly, what an enjoyable experience watching you create these lovely earrings. Every step was so easy to follow, thanks to the excellent focus of the camera and your verbal clarity.. I want to know if it is possible to use a smaller size ring for a more dainty earring.. Thank you for sharing your fabulous designs and techniques.
you have an amazing talent and i appreciate all the tutorials.. im trying to learn new stuff and youre great so i subcribed to yours.. Also im thinking of getting my bead kits from you as i really like what you do..thankyou Kelly :) you've inspired me to start beading again.. :) I live in australia..
están espectaculares ya los hice y quedan muy bellos y gustan mucho, muchas gracias por el vídeo a pesar que no entiendo tu idioma pues lo explicas tan bien que no tuve equivocaciones muchas gracias desde Barquisimeto Venezuela
Thanks for sharing your lovely creations with us, Kelly. Your camera work is amazing! I just have one question about making the ear wires. How do you assure there are no sharp burrs on the cut end of the wires?
Love love love these earrings Mrs.Kelly!!!! Once again you out did yourselves. I am fixing to go and order the once like you did on the tutorial. Also the earrings you had on in this video did you make them? If so DI you have a tutorial???? Again it's so easy to learn from your very clear tutorials. Again THANK YOU,and Happy New Year to you and your family?????
Kelly, just love your videos! I['m always interested in the jewelry you are wearing in your videos. It would be great if you would mention the name of the patterns for the jewelry you are wearing cuz you know someone is going to ask! Would you please be so kind to tell me the pattern of the earrings you are wearing? Thanks for all you do for us beaders!.
Can't work with or wear nickle because I am allergic to it. It is a common allergy. Beads and components sold as nickle or nickle finish need to notify people if it is the nickle metal. Aside from that, I really like this pattern.
Kelly - I refer you to almost EVERY lovely lady beading on UA-cam: I have watched a lot of videos and almost one of these beautiful women uses the term "wonky". It is a technical beading term, you cannot bead with out it, trust me! LOL :)!
I wonder if this can be done on a larger ring with more bicones in the middle. Love thw design but some people want the bigger dangling earrings. Also will this work on memory wire?
I have two plastic/acrylic blocks which were suppose to be for hardening wire. I noticed that you use a steel block. Do I need to buy a steel block, or will mine work just as well? (Love your videos and Facebook page!).
I don't use the black fireline all that much. But when I do I try not to get the ink on my hands. but I don't use it much so that it doesn't come off on the customer. If someone says something about it they are aloud.........how about you don't judge
