Exciting! It is your life, not a to do list! Love that! I put up a reminder post-it for me, very visibly: 🌺*This is your life, not a to do list! Seve* 🌺
I grew up in a family whose motto was work hard, always do your best, finish what you start. One day it came to me that much of my stress and unhappiness came from these things. Why would I work hard at a job I hated? What if my best was never going to be good enough? (I took music lessons for years and still can’t play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on a kazoo.) Why would I want to finish a project I considered boring and useless just to prove I could? I was doing things that were expected of me not things I truly valued. When I gave up these kind of things and began doing things that I found pleasant and meaningful, my life got better and better. - To thine own self be true…
I agree that we have been brainwashed by the society or our family to do things all the time. I promised myself to rest this week and do pretty much nothing and my mind started going crazy, thinking what I have to do next. Even my mother told me to find a job because I am unemployed for a long time. I am going to a therapist here, too. She actually told me that seeking for help is a sign of strength, not a weakness.Thank you for this video, Seve. It's a good reminder to enjoy the present and appreciate the small things in life, like the birds singing. Greetings from Greece! 😊🐤
Παρακαλώ! Exactly, hard work with low salaries. One of the reasons I want to move abroad. Where did you live in Greece? Good luck to you, too! Καλή τύχη! ☘️
@@ΜΑΡΙΑΛΕΝΑΣΤΑΜΑΤΑΚΗ I lived 1,5 years in Volos. I travelled all around Greece during my time there though so I got familiar with most of the country 😊 All people my age (I was 20) back then wanted to move abroad after uni so I get you
Ι live in Volos (or Monaco of Greece) too! Yes, after a certain point in your life you need a change. I tried to move to another country last year but the universe blocked my plans. A little bit disappointed but everything happens for a reason. 🙂
There is no "certain way" one has to live their life. To the best of your ability, you must live your life the way that feels right for you, not others.
Thank you for getting such an important message out :-). Ps where i am from in the UK, grinding is not related to working. There is the daily grind but grinding is different. :-)

Thank you! 😊 I am aware of their reputation and have researched the company more to understand better what's it all about. They have made some mistakes in the past, but they have learned from those and improved their service a lot. My own experience with them has been top-notch. There's a link in my description that has answers to common questions if you want to read more about them 🌿
I love your videos. I have watched them all in a row :) and will for sure buy your course soon. Thank you so much for enriching us with your content. 🙏
I am 57 years old always worried about money a slacked and I am a minimalist and I have know debt and keeping it that way people are running to know where swimming against a tide going nowhere
Indeed, debt is such a trap. A person in debt is not free at all. Without debt we can have some degree of freedom at least. It takes a toll, though, to swim against the tide of what most people do. It is good to find support for a simpler and freer life, isn't it!
The reality is if you wait until 65 its too late for your best years. Usually the last 15 or so years you have are filled with doctors visits and age related issues. At about 65 most develop some sort of major health issue, you have heard about folks that retired at 65 and passed away not long after. Its not because they stopped work , its because age related illness onset at about this time in life. Your best years after a life of working might be between 50 and 65, not later . most is my opinion here but backed with some life experiences. All the Best. and dont wait to late senior folks , get out and enjoy what your worked for.

Ευχαριστώ! I know how hard-working the Greeks are and how it can be hard to live up to that standard. Hope you can find your own path 🌿

Very well said. This reminds me of these song lyrics that goes, "slow down you're doing fine, you can't be anything before your time"
🎶
That's a good quote, too - but it's a pity I don't know that song at all! Can you tell more?
It’s Billy Joel - Vienna
@@Chad-rc8wt Yes, that is the song!
You’re a remarkable person. Thank you from Indianapolis!

100% agreement from me!
Thank you Seve, for reminding us to live in the present moment and to just be here now! Just BE! We don't always have to be a task master!
Absolutely!🥰
„There“ doesn‘t even exist.

Hi Seve, I love your videos and your positive message. Just you might want to do some research on better help. Lots of people have issues with it.

Thanks for sharing! I liked the perspective of life not being a checklist. It reminded me of the reflections in "Life is not useful" by Ailton Krenak.
