I know this is old, but, why all the haters? We all have our own favorite cars, drivers, types of racing, etc. But, at the end of the day, I like to see any kind of racing vehicle, hot rod, motorcycle, aeroplane, whatever, going fast. Heck, make a hot rodded locomotive, and I want to see it go! I thought that is what being a gear head is all about!

@@codeblues55.03 The ECU and the injector driver decided to not talk to each other which leaned out a cylinder which resulted in a hole and a small engine oil fire.
An aluminum Triton block holding in 2700 HP is so awesome. Around here Tritons tow around hay wagons , school kids , motor homes with only 230-300HP . But they're known to do it routinely for 500,000 km without too much complaining.

Not being an engineer, I'm interested to know - in layman's terms - how you get such a huge power output from a V8 with a couple of blowers attached...? While also keeping the car street legal...? Seems like quite a trick.
It is not easy and requires a lot of tech. 82 MM twin turbos and a lot od head work, stand alone ECU,massive intercooling to name a few. As far as street legal turbo cars are very tame when not in boost, making them streetable is not too hard. Thanks JB

Well.....not for our competitors to see. That car has an AIM EVO4 data acquisition system with smarty cam along with the a Vbox. It certainly logs more data than you can understand.
Mine was an extended cab but it was the same exact color. I dont think any other color looked as good as that one. I had always been mechanicly inclined and always fixed my own vehicles but this truck was the only diesel vehicle I have ever worked on. I did all my work at home with that manual they sell at AutoZone. But that girl ran like a champ even when loaded with all the equipment to run a concrete pump I had attatched to her rear. I gotta buy another one. Hopefully a manual one. I heard theyre beasts.
The 3,100 bhp engine blew. This car had failed to hit 300 mph. This car hit 293 mph in 1 mile, and this car has a claimed top speed of 347 mph, and given that this is a 2.7 mile course, 300+ should be easy, but a blown engine makes it difficult.
This was a test to see if the car would run 300mph in a standing mile not in 2.7 miles that's just the overall distance the track goes extend some gears change some aero and this car could easily run over 300mph top speed wise but even then 2.7 miles is not enough to reach 350mph unless he doubled the power and doubled the stopping power of the car

Now Bugatti has some unique Aero design that no one knows how they do it.. Also the wind force at 250-260 IS NOT CLOSE to 300-350mph from 180mph to 200mph the wind force double from 200-250mph the wind force is 10 times greater some are 7 times some are 8 times etc if they have a low frontal aera!! Still Bugatti again having a HUGE frontal aera just proves to the world how its done!!! AT 300 310 315-320mph and so the sheer force is MONSTER if i can say it on a childish lvl LOL!! To go from 300-310mph i think you would need 500-700hp maybe more!! depending on car..
