Hi! First of all, thanks for the videos, very nice boat.
I have a similar smaller one, with a similar boom, and am wondering how does the roller-reeling system work.
Would it be to much to ask for a video of how you do it?
    Thanks and happy sailing

Hey. So the CP 16 has a built in roller boom on some models. The goose neck is on a spring and pulls out, twists (so you can roll reefs in) and snaps back into a locked position to keep the boom from unrolling under sail. Does your boom have that?

@@SailingrumrunnerII I don’t think so, no. It attaches to the mast with a simple “pin”, so it can eventually rotate, but not sure if it can be locked.
As far as I can tell, it’s the right way up because of the sail pulling it up. Maybe it could be held in position by the main sheet pulling down.
It’s an old (1983) boat, made in France and I have no “instructions”, so I was wondering... but apparently not.
I’ll check the boom again, but not very hopeful.
      Thanks for the reply.

@@pedrofradique if the gooseneck can be pulled out from the boom and feels like it has tension that snaps it back into place then you might have the ability. I’d show you on mine but the boat is 4 hours away right now and I’m not sure when I’ll get it out next

@@SailingrumrunnerII I’m not sailing any time soon either :( I’ll give a try when I get back to the boat, it’s not here either...
anyway, thanks for your help. If you happen to have the opportunity to film the process it would be appreciated.
      Thanks again
