Nice video! That's my neck of the woods! Our previous boat, a 1990 Com-Pac 27, with its new owners, is there at Blackbeard''s. Where did you get that Com-Pac burgee? My 16/3 has the same transom arch - added by the dealer, I think? Let me know if you are in the area again, and if you have time, we'd love for you take a look at what you would suggest how to fix, if needed, the sole.
I have had that burgee for a very long time I used to be in a Com-Pac club called Com-Pac Yacht Association of North Carolina ( CYANC) I think was the name This was our club burgee I think the transom arch may have been dealer added as I have seen a couple others like it. It works well Not sure when I will be back bit I will tru and look you up Thanks for watching
Really only wind tide there but I have never had a problem launching although I may get my lower legs wet. Stock trailer I may back back truck tires in just a bit It is pretty easy to launch and retrieve Thanks for watching
@@theboatnik1328 it is a group of guys that get together on odd years, that sail a 130 trip over 4 days around the outer banks. There are some videos on you tube about it, and a Facebook page.
I'm glad with all your projects you still get out on the water! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

What a wonderful adventure. I would love to do one of those trips and anchor out. What is the chart number?
Chart #11552
Neuse River
It was a fun trip with lots of wind
Is the ramp at the sailing club open to other than members? Looks like a great place to put in/leave your vehicle overnight.
It is just for members and their guests
Private sailing club with limited membership
Lots of great people and super nice facilities
Where do you get the compac flag? I have my own compac 16 and I’ve seen a lot of those and I have no idea where to get them
I have had it for many years
It was our Com-Pac club burgee
Not sure who made them
Did you add the mast crutch or was it already installed? I'm looking for one like that!
It was already installed
I thing it was dealer added as I have seen quite a few 16’s with the exact setup
Worked well
Toast is awesome .
The simple things
Super little boat ! What's it like sleeping aboard ?
It helps to not be claustrophobic lol
Not too bad really for a night or two
Do you only launch and recover at high tide and have you made any trailer modifications to make launching and recovering easier?
Really only wind tide there but I have never had a problem launching although I may get my lower legs wet. Stock trailer
