Came to comment the same. 3 levels on ADC, 4 levels on support, complete item that grants sustain based off missing HP and Samira only has collector. Collector's lethality gets denied so in theory Samira only has little AD, a little crit and Poppy has 1 complete, useful and synergic item. BTW, Samira took a lot of reduced damage due to tabis and still complains.

@@marcokalendileo7849 samira is not a antitank adc and she built lethality (flat armor pen) item against a juggernaut with armor, she was 3 levels down and they had no antiheal/antishield. If it was any other bruiser but poppy everyone would have been fine with that clip.

Honestly the corner cutting and reused assets were inevitable when Riot stopped giving Champions unique skins and switched almost exclusively to skin lines. And especially when they decided Ahri, Lux, and Ezreal need to be part of every skin line. You can't give 3 Champions 20+ skins each and not start repeating yourself.
Hey, don't forget Akali. She's being shoved into anything that they can manage. Also, Lee sin needs a second dragon-themed legendary.
Honestly I wouldn't even care if it didn't influence gameplay. But not knowing what skillshot you're trying to dodge is a gameplay clarity issue, and a big one at that.

I mean most adcs don’t rush collector, it’s usually only Dravens or Samiras cause they’re very snowbally and can get out of control in early and mid game, but like… idk it’s such a shit item, there should be a different first option for Samira especially. Ldr casually doing 5x more impact than collector, collector is a terrible and expensive item that sh1t adc players build when their comp makes lethality useless and the threshold irrelevant for winning a team fight
Bruh Poppy was 3 levels ahead with Sundered Sky and 3/4 complete item and Samira only had a fucking Collector (typical "high elo adc" build)
so what you're saying is poppy is midly fed? 1 level and 3/4's of an item ahead of the curve shouldn't allow what poppy did in this clip

@@maruseronShe’s a tank vs an ADC who isn’t building anti-tank nor does she have anti-tank in her kit. She didn’t oneshot Samira, and Samira let Poppy get her passive shield like 10 times, which adds up to a LOT of hp.
A Riven would have stomped Sam three times as hard and doublekilled in half the time. Poppy barely survived by getting her shields + Steraks procs.

Well I main Samira but I also think poppy should win that 1v2 every time, given the build and level difference, plus the samira not playing around poppy's shield at all.

Clarity used to be a huge deal for Riot. Early on in season 1-3 they’d make sure champ skins can be immediately identified and even the silhouette can be identified. We’ve come a far cry from that.

Maybe, just *maybe*, that surviving 112 Auto Attacks, 4 Ultimates, 7 E's, and 37 Q's and not even being half health is a bit much for 1 armor item and the bonus 12 armor you would have from those 3 levels over the samira.

@@Mohammed-yr9uy adc has been the strongest role for several years. they giga scale and are the central point of play. but a single fucking item doesnt give adcs a greenlight to do whatever the fuck they please and never lose a fight. 3 levels down samira and 4 levels down lulu vs a tank with an item lead should never be an easy fight. and you act like poppy smashed them, she almost dies. a single roam from a team member and thats a won fight.

Yeah so that Cloth Armor should have definitely reduced 32,000 base damage to under 200 damage, thats how tanks should be while also dealing 25% maxhp true/physical dmg on 3s cooldowns. Tank players really do just beg and scream for them to remain the strongest champ class in the game every single season.

That clip of poppy... she was 3 levels higher, most likely had a lot more gold on her, and even rammus does this where they stack chain vests.

@@bryang2375 Kassadin pays double the amount of mana for every ult within 15 seconds of the previous one, maxing at 640 mana(in a game where the max amount champs can get is ~3000-4000 if you go ahead and buy as many mana items as you can)
It is also to note that his ult does 110+50% ap to 330+90% ap at the max cost, in a small(2.7 teemos) AOE.
Samira does 250 + 500% ad in a 600 unit radius, on a 5 second cooldown, for 0 mana.
As she has lvl 1 ult and 180 AD, that's 950 premitigation damage per ult, whereas Kassadin could be assumed to have ~300 ap(going by adaptive force rules) doing 450 premitigation damage in a similar scenario... with absolutely massive mana costs attatched because that's the fully stacked numbers, which he has to spend 1240 mana just to cast his first fully stacked R, and another 640 for each one after that.
But that's besides the point, so I'll just say

So 1st of all lvl diff, 2nd of all Samira have lvl1 ult wich is preety dogshit, 3rd is that poppy is 1,5 item and samira is 1 (Collectior that alos sucks vs any armor), 4th- Poppy's W give her a lot of tankiness. Over all i'm not suprised.
So that Poppy should be able to survive over 32,000 base damage reduced to 190 dmg? Yeah thats how it should work, from now on when I play Illaoi I should also get an instant 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999% damage reduction because I'm a couple levels ahead hahahahahahaha so many bronzies.

@@hunterknapp4714 I'm aware, she healed a total of 580hp from grasp and sundered sky. She still took literally over 90 hits each with over 100 base damage, thousands of magic damage from Pix + lulu Qs, and turret shots and was 50% hp lmaooo

They have got to doing this on purpose now. They reuse assets then when the community inevitably gets mad they “fix it”. Then they get to say they listen to the fans and score some brownie points.
iirc, a similar thing happened with a senna skin a while back where a lot of the effects were reused from other skins but only while it was on pbe, is it possible that's all that's happening here?

Are these skins made in-house or being done by an outsourced team? I know that Riot has been moving in that direction of outsourcing skin production, especially after the layoffs.
0:52 In addition, Ezreal and Lux are a common ship, and even Ezreal says he has a crush on Lux, so it makes sense why it'll be completely impossible to tell which one is the Morgana-grade stun or the chip damage.
Also, Sundered Sky is broken on Poppy. She basically gets that and a Chain Vest and she is unkillable unless you have more than 1 DPS unit attacking her. That is why 3 Samira ultimates didn't do anything - Poppy could only be killed by Samira if Samira had help from say, a Cassiopeia and also say, Skarner's %health damage for her to die out.
You know sometimes when i playing Aram i don't even know whose skill they are throwing because of these type of skin.
The only one that's actually identical is Lux ult. All of the other ones have differences which show they were individually made.
To be fair with the poppy clip, Samira was 3 levels down and had collector, which is terrible for killing anyone with a single armor item. Throw a sundered sky into the mix and it makes sense IMO

Poppy been sleeper op for a while now that's to be expected
okay but they should also do something about winterblessed hwei, his q w e r animations are all blue and I don't think anybody can tell them apart, I haven't ever played against a Hwei with that skin before until yesterday, so that's the only time when I saw it but I couldn't tell his abilities apart as I am used to orange blue purple yellow not blue blue blue blue, they should make it base color with a bit of higher or lower pitching, so it isn't pay to win.
Riot has not released a respectable skin line since season 7

Yeah idk, there is a pretty big difference between staying consistent in theming between skins in the same category and straight up not bothering to change anything about assets used in more than one of them. I can forgive being similar, but an asset flip is a bit much. The worst part is this isnt the first time riot has skimped to save money on making skins, and they keep somehow thinking people wont notice?
Sharing assets between skins for the same champs is disgusting and incredibly cheap considering how much Riot earns and how little art costs in comparsion.
However, it's completely bonkers to have almost the same projectiles for different champs on significant skills.
Especially because Riot is fully aware of those things, hence why they ban certain skins from pro play.
The coach subbing himself in could also be a option for Swiffer.

I don't mind them reusing assets. I have an issue when they reuse them like this.
Poppy is lvl 13 vs lvl 10 samira & lvl 9 lulu, with 2050g lead in items (kindlegem, chainvest, tear) compared to samira. We don't see lulu's items but I assume she's even further behind. Samira fights poppy in melee range the whole time. I don't see what there is to complain about. If anything, the samira should be happy she didn't get one tapped with such a gap. A darius would've pressed E>aa>W>Q>R, and even if he misses Q, samira dead in less than 1s, followed by lulu 1s later.
I've had games highlighting poppy's brokenness much more straightforward, where she's not even ahead, but just runs in 1v5 without losing any more than 1/4 of her HP, oneshots a target against a wall, chases the next target, gets E back like 4-5s after the first one, oneshots another target with it, walks away with still half her HP available. There are plenty of scenarios where poppy is outright broken. This is not one of them.

I think skins sharing similar assets isnt a bad thing necessarily, but when the entire skin particles is reused assets, it becomes an issue
The easiest way to explain the skins problem:
Riot makes too many skins, especially for the same champs. Reused assets (color, effects, etc) are bound to happened, especially when given to the same champs or champs with similar esthetic (karma, lux, seraphine). Is this ok, no. But its going to keep being a problem until PEOPLE STOP BUYING THE SKINS. Riot made the most most money last year, they also released the most skins last year. Correlation?
I'm not here to cause problems but, the shield specifically isn't the same at all. The Karma shield has a petal line on the right side, the Lux has one (and it is different) on the bottom section. The rest all match tho
the skin 'controversy' is just ridiculous, skin lines have a clear color theme and asthetic, of course they will look similar, its not 'cutting edges'. and yes riot should do something about the lux q and ezreal q animations, because that can be annoying, but i really doubt the enemy team is gonna go faire court lux and ezreal just to abuse this.
