hey new sub here, i just purchased a 2025 Grom ABS for my fairly short commute to my jobs and bombing around town,i havent been able to pick it up yet cause the paper work and such isnt in yet hopefully by the end of this week ill be all set and in the road . one of the first thing im gunna do is the same exhaust. and i wanna get a power commander and an intake

Yes
Yeah gear is recommended for sure! But can add up to 1k+ real easy. It does however lasts pretty long if you take good care of it too.
Yea my biggest fear is gaining/loosing weight.
I have a 24 blue raspberry grom, my mods chimera intake, replace the chimera intake harness extention to the mnnthbx ones I read it's a better harness than the chimera where it's a better connection, chimera intake fairing rod from Z&Z custom designs, zoom looped exhaust, dhm stage 1 tune, speedo angels screen protector for my digital dash (it's an awesome product), some generic amazon msx 125 fender eliminator kit (same as kemimotos but cheaper), some cheap ebay adjustable clutch and break levers (works great, not sure about durability, I don't plan on stunting my Grom), kemimoto cargo rack with a red target basket bolted on the back. recaro cheeky seat cover with extra padding, metal kickstand extention pad from ebay with the grom logo on it, laminex clear headlight film, tiakia bike phone mount, degum motorcycle cup holder, handle bar cross bar with rockstar energy pro taper foam insert (I quite like the stock bars, but liked the protaper look), inner black tank fairing panels replaced to silver found on the nitric orange, and silver honda wing sticker replaced to black, decrative wheel edge trim stickers from ebay, and some race numbers, took off the english warning label behind the gas cap replaced with an oem premium fuel label in Japanese and lastly a JBL clip 4 bluetooth speaker for some on the go tunes clips on the phone mount quite nicely!
Never thought about a speaker. Might be a good mod haha.

Are the 2024 parts and 2025 parts interchangeable? I just got a 2025 and can’t find parts for it
I would assume a lot are but some may not be I would have to dive deep to figure it out.
do you think its worth it to get a second hand 2016 grom in 2024? for half the price of the 2024 model
Always as long as you’re willing to take the gamble on second hand you can find some killer deals.

Most of the time you take a slide you hit with your hands first then maybe your knees.. best bet is to slide it out on your back protector.

@@WalkOnWheels_ Bro you keep spending my money. 1 of the first things I bought was the ASV levers you showed on a previous video. You just let TST Industries get me for a whole tail setup.... My pockets don't agree with that🤣 I think some RPM carbon parts are next on the list. I don't want to change the exhaust on my bike until the break in is complete. Stay safe out there bro!!!

finally rode a grom. yall grom riders are ballys af, the front wheel feels like it wants to wash out when you hit ANYTHING. ill stick to my sumos xD
Haha the grom isn’t the best but it’s all about the personality of it.
@@WalkOnWheels_ it def has its own personality, and it's still a great bike to learn fundamentals on since it's so light and the clutch is stupid ez to work
3:03 DoT sticker is meh. The DoT sticker is the government taking the manufacturers word that it meets expectations, and they often don't.....Ideally you want SNELL or ECE. They are third parties that test the helmets for their claims.. I would never buy a helmet with just a DoT sticker.
