Enjoyed the mudskippers and puffer eating. Also learning from ALL your talkings-teachings. As an Ex HS Science Teacher of 32 years, I still learn new things from you on every video. I know we all learn differently and very difficult to attempt to please all viewers on Social Media. To the viewers that have committed on too much talking??, kindly allow the viewers that want to hear, please allow us to listen to him without so much criticisms-and kindly and non rudely to you on my part-a honest thank you. I personally enjoy your talkings, teachings and thoughts during each video. Keep up the excellent work. I do know the effort, time any money it costs you to allow the viewers to watch, learn and enjoy the critters at no charge. Keep the videos coming that are possible -especially the ones you, I guess to some, you talk. Just be you-it is your channel. Thank you for the excellent work in all fish keeping areas and all information given in each video. Have a blessed day.
That mudskipper in the middle at the beginning... before he jumps for the worm: first turns towards the camera as if to say, “Dude! Really? You gonna make me work for this? Just put it in my mouth!”
Thanks for the vid. These guys always make me laugh. Gotta love that epic jump for the earthworm. One of these days I'll get my own mudskippers, but for now I'm glad I can at least enjoy yours with you.
This has to be by far the most interesting tank. I truly love this tank! Now don't get me wrong. Your other tanks are very impressive! Once again thank you for your videos! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for this great video! I have some of these guys coming and I was having a hard time finding a video that showed the different foods they can be fed until I came across this one. If you don't mind I have a few questions: 1. How much do you feed and how often per day? 2. Have you heard of or tried feeding black soldier fly larvae? 3. Do they need supplemental vitamins? 4. How do you clean their tank of waste? Obviously the water portion can be cleaned using a gravel cleaner but how is the beach area kept clean? Thanks again for the videos. They are awesome! Edit: One more question... What is the main food that you give them? Is it bloodworms?
Awesome tank as always and a great video. I would not be surprised if you want to set up a large frag tank (100 gallon low boy) with multiple islands for a large colonies of mudskippers. I can only imagine the fun you can have with 20 or so of these fun guys.
I have had three mudskippers for a few years now. They eat bloodworms but occasionally get a treat with some small crickets. My skippers share an aquarium with guppies and they have never tried to catch them.
How about adding a freshwater flounder aka a hogchoker. They are actually brackish fish and would be too big to become food. They do need a 50 gallon tank tho. They make very interesting pets as they like to stick to the sand bed and bury themselves.
Love them! They are so cool, i want some myself when watching this! Im not a big fan of giving live food thought so that might be a problem i guess... Eather way, are you gonna out in more plants in the aquapart? I think it looks a bit naked
Is that coral that the mudskippers are climbing on? I have mudskippers also but I have a hard time figuring out what they need in their tank to climb and play on. Mine is pretty flat sand which must be boring for my skippies. Any suggestions?
Hello! Where do you buy mudskippers at? I have done a lot of research online and even looked at past links that you have provided and everywhere says that they are "Out of stock". Any suggestions on where to find them? I'm dying to get some of these guys in my tank!
We have Mudskippers in Guam, USA that spend about 90% of their time out of water and they are in freshwater. I might pay out of pocket to ship you a few. i assume they can live in brackish water too. (I put this on another video) Great videos by the way.
ELR I think that they need to build burrows in mud to breed. They won’t be able to do that in this setup. I’m not sure how to determine male from female. I’m going to assume that the larger, more colorful ones would be males. They may be too young to tell.
Give them some red runner roaches! They are way healthier and faster than mealworms and would make for a fascinating feeding response. Also would be a first for youtube.
🌺Mahalo or thank you for sharing the video of your mudskippers & puffer eating. If this was my tank, I'd be sitting on a chair & watching them for hours! 👀
If you’d like to see more about this tank, check out this recent video: ua-cam.com/video/VZQLy0_yjJw/v-deo.html
I thought the puffers had a lot of personality, but those mudskippers are just fantastic.
Time to convert butterbean's? L0L the mudskippers are insane man!
@@anthonylj9709 No, I'd do a second tank just for them.
Soon as I saw your comment I figured you would be in on em... these guys I've actually seen before... unlike the ctenapoma I still haven't found lol.
The mudskippers look like they're smoking some fat cigars with those mealworms in their mouths haha. They have so much personality
They remind me of the mudskipper from "Ren and Stimpy" when they do that LOL

Look at the middle mudskipper, it looks like its screaming in rage trying to get the worm or in shock that thinks its floating. 😂

Those little guys are so cute. Perfectly named too.
I had a mudskipper when I was younger. These videos make me so happy to remember the creature and fun feeding and setting up the environment. :)
Mudskippers are so amazing with their segmented eyes and weird darting behaviors. I really want to set up a habitat for them one day in my home.
Love this tank! Keep showing us these guys!
OMG that first shot was the cutest thing I have ever seen!
I love mudskippers I used to have Archer fish and will mine they were really fun the house temperature fluctuates too much now to keep them
I see one has made a den, do you think you'll get eggs/babies eventually? What fun...
That mudskipper in the middle at the beginning... before he jumps for the worm: first turns towards the camera as if to say, “Dude! Really? You gonna make me work for this? Just put it in my mouth!”
The fruit flies are great enrichment. 😊 I could watch mudskippers all day. ❤️

What an awesome tank! 👍👌
They look so cute when they try to reach for the food
Lars Damen Haha! They are surprising fast for a clumsy looking fish!
Thanks for the vid. These guys always make me laugh. Gotta love that epic jump for the earthworm. One of these days I'll get my own mudskippers, but for now I'm glad I can at least enjoy yours with you.

Are yours Indian or African? Mine eat guppies sadly.
I wanna see your mudskipper😁
@@TazawaTanks mine are the same as yours. I believe they are Indian.
Mine are African. They are a little bigger than Indian mudskippers.
@@TazawaTanks that might explain why mine don't eat guppies.
I bet they love live blackworms too
They are so comical. This was a lot of fun to watch!
Job well done on their tank. They look so happy. Thanks Zenzo
How times do you feed them

How often do you do water changes
What’s the music in the beginning
Where nan a person find mudskippers?
Love them! They are so cool, i want some myself when watching this! Im not a big fan of giving live food thought so that might be a problem i guess... Eather way, are you gonna out in more plants in the aquapart? I think it looks a bit naked
They are so darn cute
Those mudskippers are frikin awesome! Great leaping ability 😆
fave vid so far!
What kind of puffer is that?
They are so much fun!!

Best wet pets on FishTube right now, hands down.
puirYorick Thank you! They are very fun!
They are so cute....what does it mean when their cheek blow up....
Really did anyone see how he jump and grab the worm ?
Hi, I am wondering where do you buy those. I really want one. I went to my local fish stores but no luck at all.
I bought mine at a local fish store in San Francisco.
Thanks for the video, they are so cute ... and when that dragon-like dorsal fin goes up: omg ...
Lorena I agree! It’s like a special treat when they do that.

Awesome! Love how they suck their eyes into their heads when they blink! Any chance you’ll try breeding them? Can you tell male from female?

Zefrank gqt footage here. nice.
Love the bass on this vid tho

I love these excellent video
COOPER'S CICHILDS Thank you!
Can any animals live with them
Any fish that are able to survive in brackish water and are large enough to not get eaten, and small enough to not try and eat them.
Do they bite? Can you hold them?
They don’t bite. I think trying to catch and hold them would stress them out.
The flies are more like an enrichment activity for the mudskipppers than a feeding.
Pup314 Exactly!
I fucning love mudskippers
These things are hilarious
Soo cool now I want mudskippers!
Very cool!
