This was a fun one to watch. The house looks amazing! What a big transformation. They all worked well together.
People always think Tarek is cheap, but he's never been cheap. He works smart with his money, knowing when and where to put it. It's just that Christina liked to put in high end materials no matter if they would get a return on it or not. She can do that now that she's remodeling homes for clients instead of flipping.
These channel is giving me sleepless nights nearly everyday i cant wait to collecte some cash to start my projects in renovating old parent houses cause these has been more than a master in renovation.
I think it is nice that tarek and Christina goes out and show the people how to flip houses. But I think people need to really do research before just jumping into flipping houses. Because you can't buy a million dollar houses I want to put $1,000 finishes in it it don't work
Right. People will definitely notice the cheaper materials, especially in areas where there are 1 million+ houses
@@cheyenner.horner4443 FATZ I don't understand
@@cheyenner.horner4443 right
I hope he learnt now that you have to do things properly to get the monetary returns. That is why Tarek and Christina were so successful (even if she had to argue with him!). They never skimped and even repaired the things you cannot see, properly.
Tarek wanting to spend money is scary
It's somebody else's money.
@@vernaburns1629 Nah. They always do renovations just like this.
I like this show. Thanks for the post.
It is so hard to watch the thinking of a cheapo at work. So glad T and C took a stand.
Sure wished this was a full episode.
I doubt in the current housing market their strategy would apply, you really don't have to redo everything to make a lot of money.
This video is 10+ years old.
And all the DIY’s that are now online
Well done !
Tarek sees his old self in the cheapo guy.
Enough of these two. I am so over their drama.
Wait, what….he puts up the money and yet they give him 50% of the profit… He would’ve been so much better off hiring professional designer and it would have definitely not costing 37 1/2 thousand dollars
I believe they shared the costs.
They didn't have to partner with him, it was probably just for the show and the "drama".
Definately not. Tarek and Christina are really good at what they do and a prof designer does not necessarily have a lot of house flipping experience, more design experience.
@@marieslabbert6009 there r designers(like me) who actually specialize in flipping... just like there are stagers who specialize in different properties
@@Violet316 they probably did but we were not told how much and which costs
The guy is clearly a newbie and need to listen to an experienced flipper.
And he did... and it paid off.
Zigzag carpet is horrible in living room
It is just a rug for staging, it will go back to the staging company.
It's a chevron pattern. :)
Carpet & wallpaper R BAD for folks with allergies.
Ugly.
❤️
so tired of these two. they need to go get real jobs.
The show has ended and they have both moved on to their individual projects
I know his wife doesen t like to hear this, but Tarek is cute ...his voice, figur, eyes.movements ect...somewhat naiv ...don t let anybody fool you
Luckily tastes differ. 🙂
they have been divorced she remarried and had a child and he just got married to a woman that could be confused for his ex-wife's sister... he definitely has a "type"
@@svietka202 She already divorced the man she remarried and had a child with. She is married AGAIN to her third husband.
@@carrietremble I honestly have absolutely no interest in her or his private lives whatsoever... I do wish her well as I do to him whether that's so many more deserving and interesting designers out there that deserve their own show
