Our family has a food tour scheduled with JOE Stefano SOON!!!! I cannot wait!!! To learn so much and eat delicious foods with him!!!! My kids are even more excited!!!!!!
I grew up in Elmhurst, it's amazing to me the neighborhood is now Thai town, so many good restaurants. Great video, and you had a amazing guide in Joe.
People go to these expensive snack shops selling a bag of chips from Thailand for $10,i go to PATA or H mart and get 3 for $5...Elmhurst is a wonderful neighborhood, really good food options.
Pata Market and the Wat Buddha Thai Temple were two places I went to with Joe a month and a half ago. I've been hyped for this collab for so long. Jon and Joe, thank you both
You're right, Thai food can very from place to place. I've eaten at two of them in my lifetime, one in Dallas which had a small buffet, but everything on that buffet was spicy and delicious, and then another in Houston which had a huge buffet, but I didn't care for anything that it had, very disappointed. Loved this video! :)
Good to see you finally eating REAL cooked food, other than burgers & pizzas and junk food. Thank you for this video, keep it up with cheap casual & fast casual food tours.
Wassup Jon! Food looks great! I'm gonna have to check out that area and try some Thai food on my next trip to NYC. We have a few Thai restaurants down here in Tampa, but for me that Wat Mongkolratanaram Thai Temple has the best Thai food in Tampa. If you're ever in town check them out (Sundays only), it's a nice experience.
I ate frog 🐸 legs before, tastes like chicken, but only in my neck of the woods, Green Bay, WI, hi like to see you do your next video here... :) great video
As someone from Butler, I have to tell you that you need to travel to NYC when COVID settles down to experience the variety of food available there! Let Jon be your guide, he has videos from tons of places! Think beyond Green Bay!
Pretty cool! Used to live in Elmhurst first came to US in 92. For some reason can’t eat Pad Thai anymore so will get simple Thai Pineapple Fried rice to test the place usually with Beef or Shrimp. And personally think Thai Iced Tea better than coffee 😀
That small size lengzapp looks huge! Not that there's anything wrong with having leftovers for the next day. Sometimes I've been at restaurants that have small portion sizes and when I leave I'm still hungry.
Barr you need to try Ricon Crillio on Junction Blvd right off of roosevelt avenue, AMAZING cuban restaurant that's been around forever! I've been going there for over 30 years
Pad Thai is a great way to determine how good the restaurant is. As for the ethnic supermarket they are a great source of ingredients that you will rarely see elsewhere. They are also great value. If I find one anywhere I always drop in.
I can't believe he didn't take you to SriPraPhai in Woodside. Or, Thailand's Center Point also in Woodside. One of the best restaurants in NYC. Then go to a Woodside bar like The Station Bar or The Beerkeeper.
Elmhurst Avenue on the M and R is the stop to get off at to enjoy this great community. Joe's tours are a 10/10, but the experience of going alone is also good. Just make sure you know what to order at these spots
I live in the area and I would say the Thai Food in America isn't that great. Just go to Thailand instead. Street Food in Bangkok is way more delicious and higher quality as long as you eat where the busy locals eat.
Thai Town Nyc 😂😂 more likeThai block. LA Thai town destroys nyc’s. One reason why. There is actual Thai farms in California, something that New York nor the rest of east coast cant ever compete with. The Isaan food is few and far between and Patani food as well as Thai BBQ is non existent. Like he said Thai food (pad Thai) in nyc is sweet. A sign its made for Farangs. Next they are going to say they have a Samoa town.

My neighborhood. YAY!

I love TCP but we were keeping the focus a bit tighter. I also love 3 aunties market . Have you been?
No , I've not. I'm not much of a cook. So I just go to the restaurants around woodside.
Thanks for replying ✌
@@Tray8729 On Sundays they have amazing prepared food at 3 Aunties, lots of snacks stuff all the time too!
@@JoeDiStefanoQNS cool if I'm not working . I'll check it out. Thanks for the info.

Lays beef flavor in Russia!

I will book a NYC 5 days trip once the Schengen ban is gone just to roam around and eat everywhere 😆

This side of the Atlantic? Don't you mean Pacific?
😯☝🏻 hahah use your imagination. We flew the other way in my mind
Guaranteed SriPraPhai in Woodside is better than anything in Elmhurst.
Top brat
Stop pointing at the food in the video
First :-)
You beat me 😉
