I wonder what software this guy used to make this.... PS. If you have the youtube return dislikes extension, then this video has perfectly equal amount of likes and dislikes. What a beautiful world!
I think it was Swift 3D that I used, though it may have been a similar program. But I remember it was one intended to output 3D animations for Flash. The agency where I worked back when was experimenting with that type of thing, to make pre-rendered 3D animated elements for web games. I found it to be much faster to work with than other 3D tools at the time so used it for this video. Then I used After Effects and probably Premiere to put it together.
@@chaoscontroldigizine Woah, thanks for the insight! It's always interesting to learn about how things were made in the early internet, when desktop websites were the main ways to interact with it. I imagine animation software is more streamlined and better documented now, but the uniqueness of these artifacts from the early internet will always be interesting to me. It's like in the Toy Story BTS where you can see them using a bare-bones in-house animation software to make it all work. Obviously it'd be much easier and cheaper to make Toy Story 1 now, but in a way it's more impressive to me that this stuff was made with such primitive methods and limited knowledge. Thanks again for the response!
