I made the sourdough apple crisp bread last night and it is SOOOO delicious! Thank you so much for sharing your recipes. I used a granny smith apple in it. This will 100% stay in rotation in my kitchen.
I love your recipes 🥰 I especially love how you make your breads. They seem easy, I have a starter and I’m going to try that out. Love the cookies also 🫶🏻
Love the recipes! Do you have a video of a homestead tour? If not, would you consider doing one? I would love to see the house and how you have decorated. The kitchen is beautiful. Also would love to see the outside. I love farms and farmhouses.
I have really enjoyed your videos and your approachable style in doing things. I'm looking forward to trying these recipes! Congrats on the bun in the oven!
As a new subscriber I am really enjoying your channel. Since retiring in 2019, I decided to make a sourdough starter again. It’s pretty well the only bread I make now. I also use ice cubes but more for the steam aspect of it, like professional bakers ovens, it helps with oven lift. I hadn’t heard of preventing it from burnt bottoms, anyways thanks so much, great content. 🇨🇦🌷
I completely admire you and respect you for learning your limits as a mom regarding the blog and not turning your channel into a big time-consuming job. I had my channel Veggie Rose and quit making videos in 2020 because I was being consumed by work and the growing overwhelming work after running that for a few years. Also, I decided to go back to a traditional diet and back to my nursing calling. I started it while I was a stay-at-home mom and it just grew and grew and the opportunities were hard to pass up. That being said I realized my mental health and family time was suffering from it, so I am really glad that you have made your decision and understand how important it is. Stick to your values mama, we will watch with or without recipes lol ppl don't realize how much time it takes to create, perfect, write a recipe, create pictures, and make a blog post, plus social media. Ugh, I get stressed out just remembering what that was like lol
Good for you for knowing when to step away! 👏🏽 Like you said, it’s definitely not as easy as it’s looks so boundaries are a must to keep it enjoyable. I’ve learned that the hard by burning myself out on different things in the past 😬
Awesome video! Im going to recreate some of these recipies! I can understand doing the building and putting up shelves without my husband around, he always sighs and complains ill do it wrong, so i do it when he's at work, and it's usually fine haha
I'm so jealous. I hope your family especially your husband cherish you for cooking from scratch because I do. Seriously, you should start taking orders for the apple crisp cake and your amazing bread.
watching this while trying to make jam.. Couldn’t remember bath time for it and so I got online and clicked an article that was well explained- I kid you not it’s from YOUR website 😂❤ I didn’t realize you had a site some how, many thanks in advance while I dive in 😊
Love your thrift finds! And the dress/skirt with a tied shirt on top. So pretty that inspired me. Also impressed you put the shelf up by yourself. All the things you do are so detailed and well done. You also make me laugh with your down to earth humor(:
Hi! Could you make more pregnancy videos? Could you maybe make a video on what you do for prenatal wild pregnancy care? 💗 like supplements and herbs you take and things like that 💗
I have some very old/ large ?Canvas/Prints. ( Not painted) Some of the frames are doubled. They are very heavy classic, frames. I am not sure how I would remove the art, be able to replace it, and still be able to hang it. I really hate to throw them out.
Not to be mean, I’ve just started watching your channel and throughly enjoy it with the exception of one thing. The constant talking is too much. It’s annoying. I have to mute the tv and I don’t like doing that.
The freezer trick for cookies that need to chill is hands down genius. I chill my tray or container and just plop the cookies on parchment paper and pop them in the freezer. If you forget about them, they also thaw quickly.
Hi, I really just found your channel - do you share some info about yourself? How many children ? Is this your second? About where do you live? Etc…I love your videos, relaxed style and love your kitchen! Oh wait- I just saw more children! Obviously not only 2! 😊
Love your beautiful channel, and I love your clothes and style! Could you do a video on your wardrobe, would love to see what you look for in your clothes and where you purchase! Do you sew some, thrift, or online purchase? What you look for for nursing, maternity, post- partum and between pregnancy. I'm trying to change up my wardrobe and need some help. Thanks!
Love your black countertops!😍 what are they made of?.. we are renovating our early 1900’s kitchen , and would love to create your cozy look in our home!
Do you watch or followed UA-camrs or Instagram Influencers similar to you like Farmhouse On Boone, Acre Homestead, Carrie Rad, The Seasonal Homestead, etc...
Only saw your channel for first time just over a week ago. You do everything with such love and humour, I have been watching your individual videos each night. You have given me the confidence to do a sourdough starter in preparation for baking my first loaf 😄 wish me luck 😂 I love scouring for vintage picture frames and other items and I collect coloured glass vases 😊 Love your pieces you selected 👌
You’ll do great!! And the good thing is, if your first few loaves aren’t the greatest you can still make croutons, bread crumbs, bread pudding, French toast casserole, etc - it’s never a waste!
The drilling part, talking about your husband having anxiety when you do it had me laughing 😂 I can totally relate! Mine is the exact same when I do things like that 😅 ❤
I chuckled at your comments on your husbands anxiety over you using power tools and doing it while he’s gone - I do the same thing! 😂 my husband is a carpenter and it just stresses him out immensely because I don’t even measure or level things, but yet they’re always level 🧐😂
I absolutely love this erra of us millennial woman reclaiming faith motherhood, homemaking and the value of marriage and building strong families. I'm really enjoying your channel.
These women have never been gone though, we just have social media now and realizing we are not alone and there’s more of us than the opposite 🫶🏼

Where is your sweater from? I love it!
I love your channel, but just wondered why you don’t mill your own flower?
Laughing at that power tools comment. It’s so true 😂
It’s ok if someone doesn’t have a recipe I just write down on messages and text to myself 🤣
Hi! Could you make more pregnancy videos? Could you maybe make a video on what you do for prenatal wild pregnancy care? 💗 like supplements and herbs you take and things like that 💗
Just found you! This is might type of video!
Where is your long cutting board from? It’s gorgeous!
My mom got it for me at a local antique shop - it’s amazing!
I have some very old/ large ?Canvas/Prints. ( Not painted) Some of the frames are doubled. They are very heavy classic, frames. I am not sure how I would remove the art, be able to replace it, and still be able to hang it. I really hate to throw them out.
I need to show how I use old frame sometime, I’ve got tons that I have repurposed in my house!
@@HopewellHeights that would be fantastic!
Where did you get your white tea pot that on the stove?
It was my husbands grandmother’s - it’s totally rusted on the inside by I love keeping her old things on display in the kitchen ❤️
What kind of flour do you use? And also, I'm new to successful sourdough, what is the difference between closed and open crumb bread?
I use organic unbleached ap flour, usually from azure standard since they have 50lb bags!
are you a cowgirl?

Thanks so much! 😊
Do you dye your hair? It’s pretty if so what color brand?
I don’t, just my natural color!

Do you have a house tour? I just love your kitchen and would love to see the rest of your house layout
