Hi Mike, thanks for continuing to support us with this new channel! Looking forward to more of your videos!
Subscribing was a no-brainer. Thanks Mike.
Thank you!
I like your teaching style and honesty. I would like to see you compose a song from beginning to end. Showing all the tools you use in cakewalk to help you with the finished product. Thanks for all things you’ve taught me.
Where would all us Cakewalkers be without Mike and his Creative Sauce?
If it hasn't already been done before on your previous channel; a video on comparing Cakewalk with other DAWs. I think it would be very helpful for newcomers considering Cakewalk as their first DAW.
good luck with the new channel Mike!
So pleased to see you here Wobbie!
MIke - there is no way we are NOT going to follow you....wherever you go! Cheers! -Pete
Been using Cakewalk since the mid 90s when I had to record the audio on a Tascam Portastudio cassette! I don't see me switching DAWs. That said, I have learned so much from you, Mike. I really appreciate your style of instruction. You're great at what you do, and I thank you! Any advanced subjects would be cool to me.
Since the 80's I can't leave the first DAW girlfriend behind. Too many joyful musical accomplishments.
Thank you Mike! I got into the home studio world after quite a few years of a hiatus from music all together. My old band mate used Sonar in theblalte 90's as a DAW. So when I looked it up I found Cakewalk. And in doing so found your Creative Sauce channel, and yes, your channel was the easiest to follow and learn from. So I'd say, either way, I would have followed you even to a new DAW. But truly I am happy you will be continuing Cakewalk videos, because it is where I'm comfortable, as im sure theres others thar feelnthe same. Thank you for ALL you do. And I, hope you are and continue to be well.
Nice nice! I remain poor, so old CW will be with me... Cheers Mike!
Thanks Mike. Love your style and how informative your videos are.
Thank you Mike for continuing to support us on the journey of producing our music through Cakewalk.
Thanks Mike. Me and my Dad appreciate all the help so far. Looking forward now to the new Sonar. ✌😊👍
Thanks Mike for all your teaching skills associated with all DAWs and your particular passion for the Cakewalk community.
Thank you for keeping cakewalk users informed, and your channel going!
Im here! Looking forward to your videos here.
Looking forward to some new content here… I enjoy the step by step processes you provide.
I hope CakeWalk sees how valuable your teaching is. They should be supporting your work!
Thanks Mike. I wish you the best for this new Channel. As a cakewalk user I´m very excited to see was next.
Thank you Mike and I hope you keep posting here. After an illness and a 6 yr layoff from recording your videos have been a great help to me as I rediscovered Cakewalk. I first bought Cakewalk in 1987 and used it in my midi solo act for quite a few yrs. Wishing you the best.
Thanks Mike. I have always loved your channel. Good luck with this one, and whatever you put up, I'll be there.
Subscribed! Of course, we're all curious about the next iteration(s) of our favorite DAW!
Hey Mike, thanx for all that you have done and you will do in the future for the cakewalkers all over the world. Greetings from Lengerich NRW, KlaGueSch
Cakewalk was my first ever DAW. I used Cakewalk Pro Audio 5 in school (it was on one machine in the school computer room - and once I found that out, music was all I did with my school lunch breaks!), and then my dad bought me the cut-down version (Cakewalk Home Studio 6) so I could continue composing music at home. I went all the way to Sonar X2 (even used it to produce EPs and albums for clients) but Windows instability forced me to go with Logic on Mac. Many years later, I'm now a very happy Reaper user (it's the closest thing to Cakewalk on a Mac in my humble opinion), but I'm so glad Sonar is coming back. I'm subscribing because I will always be interested in my first ever DAW, no matter what I'm using or where I am in my musical life.
I'm pleased that you're continuing to provide tutorials regarding Cakewalk. You are engaging and have a knack for explaining things clearly and succinctly. I also enjoy your Studio One channel. I am still evaluating whether to switch DAWs or not. Best wishes on this new channel.
How-to videos using Cakewalk are the most valuable to my little company, as we have used Cakewalk exclusively for decades in 100% of our client projects. I'm always surprised how much we continue to learn and apply, due in a large way to your videos. Wishing you much success on this launch!
Hey Mike, First let me say Thank You. I feel like most everyone here and really appreciate you and all that you do and the wealth of information you provide for the cakewalk community.
As of now I wait in anticipation on what's next for cakewalk and your videos. However, I do plan in the near future to Use Studio One, thanks to you as well. I look forward to continue support you in Both Channels. Thanks for being genuinely you my friend.
-David E. Maxwell of D.E.M. Beats production 🙂
Mike. I'm happy to see you continuing with Cakewalk with this new channel. I'm a long long time Cakewalk user (V4.5 I think). Definitely pre DAW days. Your videos have opened my eyes to different ways of doing things. I have adopted some of those. Thank you.
Thank you for what you do to help the home studio enthusiast. It is more appreciated than you know
hi mike. great that you have setup a dedicated cakewalk channel. looking forward to your content
Mike I have started my 2nd life after retirement ..71 years old now and without Cakewalk (free) and your expert guidance I would never have felt like I was 16 again playing with my high school band. Please...please continue with Cakewalk...whatever version. Thanks so much for your help.
Looking forward to all the great stuff to come. Thanks Mike!
Thanks Nick - for the first ever comment on this channel!
Thanks Mike for creating this new Cakewalk channel. I know it will be worth viewing as you're a wealth of knowledge, skills, and inspiration.
I've been a Cakewalk user since the early 90s and continued with it after the Bandlab version came out. Mike, you've created valuable resource and it's much appreciated.
I'm a devout Cakewalk user, and have been since 1990. Good luck with the new channel.
Hi Mike
I’m so happy you’re continuing your tutorials on Cakewalk! I’ve been using Cakewalk since the Twelve Tone days (possible from the beginning of Cakewalk) I find it to be a great DAW and really appreciate the help you give to newbies as well as long time users. Keep up the great work!!!!
Hi Mike. Thank you so much for your new Cakewalk channel. I've been stuggling with making a decision about finding another DAW but am still hopeful for the new Sonar. Your excellent videos will be a big help. Wishing you all the best!
I would like to thank you Mike for all you do for the DAW community. I don't think everyone can imagine the work you put in to produce these very professional well done tutorials. I for one have been doing music and recording for a very long time (over 50 years) , and would not be producing my very first album without the kind of help you provide. I have now switched completely to Studio One . I don't know if or when Calkwalk will make their decision, so I needed to move forward. I still use Calkwalk for existing work and will be following you on both channels. Always wanted to visit Australia....
Still here and whatever comes from Cakewalk, the company, I think we all know you'll be on top of it. Interested to see what's to become of the whole thing. Been lucky it's been free for the time it has been. So we'll see where it goes. Thanks for everything up to this point. i think it will be positive - but time will tell. Cheers sir.
Your videos regarding Cakewalk by Bandlab have helped me in several ways. Just as you have some kind of connection with "us", as you more or less described in your words, we actually have this too. So I would like to hear from those who will follow you! Good luck. Greetings from the Netherlands. Ben Vogelzang.
Keep up the good work. I always enjoy your videos and appreciate it very much. God bless. - Johan
It's not because Cakewalk by Bandlab is getting discontinued that a lot of us will stop using it I feel. Your tutorials and teaching style got me started with that DAW. Keep doing what your doing best Mike
Thanks, Mike!! Can't tell you how much your videos have helped. I'm glad that you have decided to continue a channel dedicated to Cakewalk. Because Cakewalk has no released much, if any, information on their product, I'm anxiously waiting to see where thing lead. I may switch to Studio One and maintain the Cakewalk by BandLab for my older musical creations and slowly migrate if Cakewalk delays much longer. As far as what I'd like to see you cover, and you may have covered it, but I use iZotope's RX10 to make some adjustments, and this seems to be sort of tough to use in Cakewalk (not sure how it works in other DAWs). Again, I'm glad you made the decision to continue here, and I certainly look forward to future videos.
Hey Mike; So glad you're going to continue leading this Cakewalk adventure. I've used some form of CW since 1997, ProAudio.. I've worked with a lot of DAWs and I know that CW has implemented ideas before the other DAWs.. ie, collaborating with Celemony to design/develop ARA technology. (the ability to create a tempo map with 2-3 mouse clicks, no other DAW can do that). I'm glad you'll continue here, I have learned so many tricks from you, that the value of this channel is essential. Cheers, mate, glad you'll still be a light in the darkness for many of us.
I see you've started populating the new channel. THAT'S GREAT! THANK YOU! I already found one I had missed. This channel is not only good for people who are new to Cakewalk (in case it keeps going) but it's great for people like me who need an occasional review on something. And there's always something new to learn! I know there are other Cakewalk channels but YOU ARE THE BEST!!
I downloaded the cakewalk product center after watching your "Cakewalk 2024- What will I do?" video and even though I had just recently installed an update, I was surprised to find there was ANOTHER update available.
Hope you're well!
Thanks Mike for continuing to support this community. I have spent a couple of years using your channel to learn the basics of Cakewalk by BandLab and consider myself perhaps an intermediary level user as a result; for me I should like to see content of how to move to the next level, and specifically using the various add on to the system to
Improve my mixes. 🙏
I've learn a lot from your videos. I'm new to Cakewalk, and DAWS in general. Glad you are continuing - I hope you do!.
I'm so happy to join this channel. Thanks so much Mr Mike Enjoy for your selfless service. Wishing you more years in sound health and plenty money to enjoy life. We will make it up to you
Mike, I've really appreciated your previous Cakewalk videos. I started working with Cubase light when I purchased my first USB interface, an very early 2 channel Tascam US-1x... The Cubase software came with the USB. After fighting Cubase for about a year or so, I saw that Band Lab had released the free version of Cakewalk. About a year later I was introduced to your channel. Cakewalk has been my main DAW for about 7 years now, so I'm very please that you will be continuing with a Cakewalk channel. Hopefully the new versions are not show stoppers. Cheers and keep up the good work...
Thanks Mike. You are a great teacher and you make learning interesting and fun. I love your style of teaching and feel you really connect with your audience. You are always professional, direct, and get to the point, which I think honors the intelligence of the user. So many YTers fill time with fluff and useless chatty conversation. Well done. Thank you for creating and maintaining such a good channel. Stay well.
Hi MIke, Glad to see you are continuing, I have been a Cakewalk user since the late 1990's but not a power user just an intermittent hobbyist! I think I have forgotten a number of things about Cakewalk I used to know (yes work got in the way!) so after discovering your videos I've found them very useful. I'm looking forward to what happens next with Cakewalk and your channel!
Please tell your friends to tune into this channel. Oh and good luck with this channel Mike I hope it takes off.
Done subscribed. Would love to see this channel grow exponentially!
You're Cakewalk tutorials have helped me countless times over the past year or so since I decided to really get into creating some of my own music. Still so much to learn!! Can't wait to see what you have next! Stay well, Mike!
Hello Mike, thanks for keeping this going. I appreciate your teaching style and commentary. I have been using cakewalk since the 12 tones days. It has grown and been through a lot just like some of us hardliners.. Life gets Lifey.. If it works for you please continue. You have helped a lot of people get to know a great DAW and I for one appreciate your efforts.
Hi Mike, please continue, I've learned so many things about Cakewalk by your videos. You are a very skilfull and great teacher!!
I literally would not be recording if I hadn't discovered you and your channel during lockdown. I can't thank you enough.
Thank you Sir. Your support is always noticed and appreciated :)
@CakewalkRevealed and you're already over 2k subscribers! It's almost as if people value, appreciate and love you.
Hi Mike. Thanks for making this Channel & thanks for all your help with cakewalk in the past. Just a thought, but seeing as this is going to be the place for all things cakewalk, would you consider posting your previous cakewalk specific videos here so that this channel becomes a one stop shop?
Thanks so much for giving us this new channel. I'm sticking with Cbb.
It has more features than I'll ever need as just a hobbyist, keyboard, electronic drums, vocals. Turning 67 next month and my singing voice is going.
subscribed... keep up the great work mike..
Hi Mike, thanks for taking the time and trouble to continue helping this community. I've come here from Creative Sauce, which was what introduced me to Cakewalk by Bandlab in the first place. I want to keep using that free version of the DAW for as long as possible, even if the tech support for it dries up. But I will also be interested to see how Sonar develops, with a view to perhaps switching in the future. It was actually Sonar by Cakewalk that I had previously been using since 2005. Thanks again
Hi Mike, my suggestion is that your early videos on this channel should focus on the capabilities and differences between Next and Sonar. This is so the viewers can make more informed decisions on which way they want to go forward with Cakewalk, of maybe go elsewhere. Thanks for all the previous help. It's been invaluable.
That's a great idea thanks!
Hi Mike. It would be a nice chance to make a big review on the Cakewalk, because the product has changed (and improved) so much. Thanks for supporting us. What will happen with creative sauce channel? Subscribed
Hi Mike
I’ve been a dedicated follower of Creative Sauce since the very early days and my primary reason was for the cakewalk vids. I’ve been using Cakewalk since 1998 and I’m getting too long in the tooth to even bother starting to use another DAW. So this new channel is perfect for me.
Like you said in the video on creative Sauce, we still don’t really know what’s happening with Sonar at the moment, so I’ll stick with the free version for now.
So yeah, just any tips, tricks on CbB are greatly appreciated. Maybe a video on the billion different shortcut keys? I still don’t know half of them lol
All the best with the next channel. I’m in 🤘
I've been using about 10% of Cakewalk in various forms since around 2001. Since finding your videos I've started using some of the other 90% of its capabillities. Thank you
Hi Mike. Look forward to you vids on this channel. Your content previously has been invaluable to me and your videos remain a go-to source for an old codger like me when I forget something. I wish you nothing but the best in this new venture, and stay well mate. 👍
Can't wait to find out what's New in Cakewalk SONAR, and your videos about it! Thanks, Mike!
good news, thankyou Mike, you have saved my bacon a few times! we wait and see what Cakewalk throws up on it's sonar release!
I've been a Cakewalk user since 1991 version for Windows 3.0 through to the last Sonar Platinum version and further onto Cakewalk by Bandlab. Your Creative Sauce channel has been absolutely wonderful and I applaud the choice you made in championing it for music creators because it was free to use at that point. Your style of education and delivery is truely excellent and I intend to both: continue using Cakewalk in the future, and also to watch this channel - whilst understanding that it also has to fit your business model. Thank you so much. Keep well. PS We're over 1K!
Thanks Mike. Your videos are essential viewing. I hope you (and CW) continue
Your vids were a huge help when I discovered CbyB about 2 years ago - and bits and tips keep cropping up in your videos, so sub to this new channel done! VERY interested to learn more about C-Sonar as soon as more info is released, differences to existing CbyB, pricing - you name it. No idea yet whether it will be a switchover or stay with CbyB or what.
Hi Mike, I’m very pleased and thankful that you’re continuing to support us with Cakewalk, fantastic news! I thought during your preamble it was going in another direction but very glad to be proved wrong! Thoughts on other videos? One thing I’m a little puzzled about is when to use the pro channel versus using plugins. Also maybe a video on the plugins you would buy on a fixed budget - for example $500US - assuming you’re starting out with no paid plugins. Also I’ve always wondered if you could do a series on you actually fixing elements of someone’s mix - where they send you a cakewalk bundle and you fix it up. Realize that might be tricky if your setups are different, but maybe you could have some thoughts on that. Anyway, just some thoughts and I’m sure you’ll get lots of great ideas on here. Looking forward to the new channel!
Regards
Andy
I'm happy with the instructional, Tips and tricks format that you currently do with your sauce channel. Please keep up the good work.
Nice one Mike. Keep up the great work.
I was an owner of guitar tracks and pro many yrs ago. Your videos got me back into recording my own songs that uve had for 20yrs.....so big thanks to u.
Cheers
I'm quite thankful to be here. Thanks for all you do!
Hi from California, great to hear you will be uploading more videos featuring cakewalk, I've learned a lot from your previous content over the past few years. I'd love to see more tutorials on recording, mixing and mastering acoustic guitar and vocals, cheers 👍👍
Hello Mike from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 I'm already subscribed of course! Thanks for your support to the community. All the best with this new channel. My prediction is that when we overcome this stage of uncertainty regarding the price and date of the new Cakewalk Sonar, this channel will be a new success and perhaps it will even be better to have a specific channel about Cake 🙌💪 (Here a user of the only MIDI -no audio- first versions of Cakewalk 😅)
Curses to the algorithm that forces this kind of partitioning of content! But all praises to Mike for finding a graceful way to keep his hand in Cakewalk. I'm a long-time Cakewalk user (3 decades!), so beginner tutorials are less interesting to me (though I'd watch them to keep the new channel going). The kind of videos that drew me to Creative Sauce originally were those that dealt with techniques at an intermediate and advanced level. There was usually something in them that I hadn't known, and even when there wasn't, I felt that my understanding solidified after watching the video.
So I'd like to see more of that, especially if it could worked into a series of videos that follow the course of a single real project. That might be a big ask for Mike, since it would mean dedicating a slice of his life to creating a track in Cakewalk and somehow planning in advance which techniques/topcis to cover when. (I certainly wouldn't know how to do this!)
Thanks for everything so far, Mike, and here's to the success of this channel!
Hi Mike, thanks for your continued support, I have followed you on the Creative Sauce channels for a long time. No questions at present, but there may be some when the new CW is finally released.
Should be interesting to see what the new versions of Cakewalk have to offer, and I have no doubt this is the best place to learn about them!
Wouldn’t miss your channel for the world Mike! Thanks for what you do and looking forward to new videos
Mike I Could Care Less What Content U Provide On This Channel Bcuz Everything U Have Ever Dropped Has Helped Me TREMENDOUSLY!!! I Was A Long Tyme Cakewalk Novice Going All The Way Back To Cakewalk 3.0, But Upon Stumbling Onto UR Channel I Have Gotten Sooooo Much Betta Utilizing All The Amazing Features Contained Therein!!! I Have Subscribed & I Wish U Nothing But The Best Going FWD Bcuz Only A Few Folk Have Mastered UR Wonderful Teaching Style That Many Of Us Out Here On These Internets LOVE!!! So Keep Up The Good Work..., WE GOT UR BACK MAN!!! The Bro J!!!
Hi Mike, I am sharing this in my small but functioning Muzo circle 😎 relieved that you gave your CW community this option - Wellness upon you!
I allways find some new and informative tips from your videos about CakeWalk, how it works and so on. Thanx.
I learned everything I know about Cakewalk from you, which resulted in me recording my own acoustic guitar covers. Thanks for everything you do Mike ! looking forward to more of your shared wisdom!
Hi Mike! I would like you to talk about how some plug-ins work in ProChannel. For example: the gloss button in the eq. Also the difference between the 3 types of console emulator. Finally, the difference between putting the plug ins in the ProChannel or in the FX rack. Thanks! I love the way you teach.
Good on ya, Mike! Let's all keep this community alive.
Thank you Mike for this new channel
Fantastic that you decided to do this! I'm too old to get my head around another DAW. You make it possible for me to work better with the one I am used to.
I enjoy watching and learning from your videos and I will continue to do so even though I am not a musician. 😊
Let’s keep it going Mike. You rock !!
Hi, Mike. I hope you well too. I think that when Cakewalk release the software we are waiting for, the most important would be to focus in the workflows and a comparission between the versions.
Thanks! I use Cakewalk with help of your teaching and I really like Cakewalk. Hope I can continue using it.
I'm here and ready to expand my knowledge - Cheers Mike!
Looking forward to this new channel, Mike! Thank you!
Hi Mike - I think this s a great move. I am a ver Senior composer and have not really wanted to jump on the Reaper or Cubase bandwagons. I have used Cakewalk since the very first MSDOS based versions and as a beta tester for their first Windows versions. I am looking for things about taking samole libraries and really making them work to a professional sounding level in cakewalk. Thanks again for this new channel.
Hi Mike, thanks for continuing to educate us about Cakewalk!
Hi Mike a big thankyou for not forsaking us all together, I am a raw beginner at a ripe old age, and have purchased you beginners course, which I hope you will continue to support. Thank you my Friend
Hello, Mike. My name is Hermano Carvalho Siqueira. I'm from Brazil. I like your teaching style and i will continue using CAKEWALK products. Congratulations for your Channels (the old and new ones). Good luck and i'll keep on watching your videos.
