Billy Burnette is on Buddy Millers left hand side playing a Gibson Les Paul and singing background vocals. Billy has been a member of Fogertys band since 2004 . Billy was not a part of the recording of Fogertys new album " The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again !
Is this heart and soul America? Fantastic. And the stats show all four corners of the world love this group, and this song. This wildcat video should be on DVD, amazing good. Thanks Kinki.
+Catherine Willier >> Fogerty has always been a puzzle. He wrote 'Born on the Bayou' in California, never having visited Louisiana. Success and fame landed the other CCR guys in drugs and self-destruction, but John Fogerty coped very well. The guy just gets better with age.
Billy Burnette was always the guy in the background who never really took off, he had several good solo albums throughout the late 70's through the 90's, and of course was in Fleetwood Mac from 87-94 when Lindsey Buckingham took his first long hiatus. He was one of those guys who didn't quite fit into any single category, as he was a bit of rock, country, rockabilly, blues all mixed together, so i don't think record companies knew what to do with him.
John can play so manny different kind of music. He plays rock, country, blues andgospel so he is a master in the music scene sinds 1964 till now. And he's still rockin' and being my MOST FAVOFITE SINGER-SONGWRITER. ❤❤❤❤❤💯💯💯💢💢💢💥💥💥👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Bear in mind, this is a cover of a Hank Williams classic. This is how good he is on other people's material. Then remember that he wrote Proud Mary, but was happy to acknowledge that Tina Turner made it her own. Then go and look at the videos from his Celebration tour. 50 years, until he got the copyright for his songs back. Trust me, I saw him live at the O2 in London on that tour, a venue with all the atmosphere of an aircraft hanger, and he still had the place on its feet. The man is not only one of the great songwriters of all time, but a legend as a performer. We won't really appreciate how good he is until he is gone.
I love his sound, style and presentation! One tiny glitch though - in all the versions I've heard him sing of this song, he consistently mispronounces Thibodaux. He says Tie-bo-dough, it should be Tee-bo-dough.
Merci pour ce partage en live et cette video J'adore cette chanson et j'avoue avoir un grand faible pour l'adaptation en français de Dick Rivers Je ne connais pas ce chanteur guitariste J'aime beaucoup sa reprise
While I'm not enthused by rhythmic yodelling, I love the guitar work! There is something about rag-time and delta-blues that really gets my creative juices flowing. I can see why Fogerty dipped so deeply into country. Kind of interesting how the bluesman Howling Wolf got his name by trying to imitate Rodgers. He could only pull-off something he thought sounded like a wolf's growl.
as long as that band stayed together they never had a bad song, their all classic's .
That band was Fogerty wrote sang and played lead.
John fogerty will sang his heart out & sang what ever his fans want to hear, extraordinary that he is.

That's a great version. I love the really simple but effective ending.
I might have given up a finger or a toe to have been at this jam. What a perfect man to cover a Hank Williams Song. Poetic perfection.

Not a perfect cover at all, because John Fogarty completely left out the entire 3rd verse of the Song.
фогерти красавчик!!!!!!!!!!!один из лучших!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I can sing like him when I'm his age, and I'm not even a professional musician. Keep on Keepin' On John!!

When Hank first hit the airwaves with this song the bayou people thought they were being made fun of.Hank assured they it was complimentary.

American talking about pronunciation😂😂come back when you know how to say aluminium
A. Not American. But thank you for displaying your prejudice.
B. It has nothing to do with English pronunciation. It's a French name.

Bravissimo 💞💞💞
Notice at 2:24 the fella with the tele blasts a solo, how all eyes are on him! Killer job I wonder who this guitarist is?
Essa música é de Hank Williams de 1952, e depois em 1954 foi regravada por esse conjunto
