They obviously cannot be trusted to investigate their own crime's, and wrongdoing, they keep lying, covering up everything they can and hiding all the evidence, and refusing to answer FOIA application's!
Kudos to representative Thomas Massie for rightly explaining that Congress makes laws and it is unconstitutional for the executive branch to issue proclamations that become administrative laws for unelected bureaucrats in federal agencies such as the ATF (AFT in Bidenese).

The chunk of polymer you get in a kit *could* become a functioning gun part, but it's not a gun part, it's a gun part shaped piece of polymer. These changes in 'rules' steps on our right to make our own firearms, which is perfectly legal if said person is leagaly allowed to have a firearm. I believe you can make upto 3 a year and only have to have them serialized if you intend to sell, but theres a limit on that as well until you may want to get an FFL. Brandon Herrera has a video that goes into a little more depth about the nuances of what the AFT it trying to pull. Defaced firearms are also considered 'ghost guns', of course criminals will have them. I always hate the 'hur dur! They're not going to take your guns away!'. No they won't, but they'll change the laws or the definitions unconstitutionaly that the most law abiding gun owner will become a felon if they own anything more than a single shot breech load rifle or shotgun.
